Experienced bassist (16 years of practice) gives bass lessons in all styles (blues, funk, jazz, rock, etc.) for beginners of all ages, at my home (near the Arts-Loi and Madou metro stations) or at yours . Will be covered during the course: music theory, harmony, rhythm, groove, ear work, finger techniques, plectrum, slap, as well as the history of the instrument (Stanley Clarke, Les Claypool, Bootsy Collins, Trevor Dunn, Larry Graham, James Jamerson, Louis Johnson, Bill Laswell, Jaco Pastorius, Victor Wooten...) and modern music in general. Course objective: to obtain a certain autonomy after 1 to 2 years of course.
