Ciao Amici! My name is Grazia and I am a native Italian teacher and cultural anthropologist. My teaching method is mainly based on three factors: TOTAL IMMERSION. From the very first moment we will communicate exclusively in Italian (including hand gestures which are so dear to us Italians!). BILINGUAL and BICULTURAL. A language is not only made up of words and grammar, it is a network of stories that connect all people who use it presently and have used it in the past. A language has within itself all the knowledge of a linguistic community. At the same time, culture cannot exist without a language to describe it. For this reason, I have chosen to teach using a two-way approach. The goal is to learn how to linguistically experience another culture and therefore learn how to use another language in a culturally effective and appropriate way. FUN.
