Would you like an American teacher with 15 years of professional English teaching experience? I studied Political Science at the University of California for my BA degree, and have worked in government, then travelled as an officer on a major cruise line for 14 years, followed by owning my own small business, and then 15 years of teaching. I have been working with business clients for 6 years to understand how to talk with others about their plans, projects and products. My current individual clients hold management positions in tech dev or publishing firms. I have also taught an intensive university preparatory year program, General English in private language schools and a British certificate BTEC program on Hospitality Management. I left Lviv, Ukraine in February and I am resettling here in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina to teach in person or online. My adult business students now usually request lessons with some specific and more general goals: improving fluency, clearing up pronunciation, understanding how Americans or British people use language and what they really mean, and making your language clearly understood by using the right phrases.
