The English language can be hard for primary students to learn to use, especially if it is not their first language. Additionally, students with dyslexia have an added challenge to access the English language in both reading, writing, and comprehension. Many students are unable to access and comprehend their curriculums in school, because of various learning styles. Once I am able to see and understand your child's strengths and weaknesses as a student, I can create an individualized plan for them to be able to learn, and thrive as a student. As a certified primary school teacher in both general education and special education I have both a Bachelor's and Master's degree and 2 years of field work experience to help your child access their curriculum. I have also completed a year long program with Wilson Reading System to learn more about the dyslexic brain, and hold the title of a Certified Dyslexia Practitioner.
