I have twenty years of experience as a classically trained pianist. I have performed at numerous small concerts, weddings and other events. I recently moved to Switzerland to marry my husband Michael :) Piano has always been a passion of mine and I look forward to passing this passion on to you. I teach with enthusiasm and positivity, focusing on practical habits that will improve your musical skills over time. I offer a stress-free environment in my home and I have a wonderful piano for you to take lessons on. I can start with the musical basics or pick up where you have already started with self-study or another teacher. I also enjoy working with children and have experience as a private school teacher, so I know how to engage children and be creative with their learning tendencies. Since I moved to Switzerland from America, I don't have perfect German yet, but I learn quickly and can give lessons in English or German. As a native English speaker I am excited to pass on my English speaking, reading, writing, & communication skills. I am a published author of a short children’s book, and lifelong daily writer. I am excited to teach English as a second or first language to children and adults. I recently moved to Switzerland from America to marry my husband Michael, and I’ve been loving establishing myself in life here in Switzerland. English is my native language but I’m also learning German so I can also communicate with German to help you understand our lessons. I’m willing to use your curriculum or provide my own curriculum!
