TOEFL stands for Test of English as a Foreign Language and is one of the most required tests for international upper education admission. A high TOEFL score not only improves your chances of getting admitted to the university of your dreams, it also paves the way to better scholarships.
TOEFL consists of four sections: Reading, Listening, Speaking, Writing. We will make sure to dedicate class time to each section equally or focus more on one section you might need more help in. It’s completely up to you how you decide to structure the class.
If you decide to take classes with me, I will make sure to walk you through all necessary tips and strategies needed to ace the exam. You will also take 3 full test exams graded by me as well as 5 more practice ones at your own timing
This class is suited to aid you in preparing for the Collegeboard AP Microeconomics and AP Macroeconomics exams.
I have worked as an AP Economics teacher and tutor and have all the needed syllabi, AP classroom access, different textbooks (Krugman’s for AP, Barron’s, Princeton review), and the stamina to get you through the class and help you ace your AP exams.
We will follow College Board’s course outline for the most part, unless you individually would like to cover specific units that you might need more help with. I will also use past exams to better prepare you for the AP exam and help you practice. Mid-course as well as on the very final day, we will complete full tests just so that you can get a better understanding of what areas you need improvement in as well as see how you have improved from having studied in this class.
I usually structure classes based on Modules, covering first theory then exam questions related to the covered module.
Economics and Statistics are subjects that have overarching impact in different areas of life. Whether you are a student looking to take this class to strengthen your understanding, or just someone that is interested to learn more about the subjects, I encourage you to give the class a try. I will make sure to cover all the material from your book(s) as well as problems. My classes are usually centered around chapters- for each chapter I spend 1-2 classes covering theory and 1-2 classes covering problems and solutions.
We can awlays structure the classes as per your request, depending on what you need more help with.
