I have been tutoring children for the past 3 years and have had experiences within different curricula. I offer help with homework, identify areas in need of improvement, and support children in their journeys. My approach is learner- centered and my priority is to get the children involved and interested, and find ways of presenting the topic they find difficult in an interactive way, and link it to their personal experience and interests. (For example, improving reading comprehension using topics and media they enjoy). Recommended tutoring duration by age (but varies from child to child): 4-6y.o. - 30 mins (don't accept online) 6-7 y.o. - 45 mins 8-11 - 45 mins to max. 60 mins Children with ADHD, dyslexia and other SEND: 30 mins or 45mins with a 5-10 minute break in between
