This class is aimed at beginners / singers and songwriters who wish to learn the basics of piano so that they can accompany themselves and / or compose songs using the guitar , to help them find chord progressions and also melodies to fit with their song. The level i am teaching currently is for beginners. We will go over the following concepts : Rhythm / Tempo / Basic Key Signatures / Basic Scales / Harmony / Chords and Melody. Additional topics we can cover during the lesson are : Writing chord progressions to fit the melody you have already created. Writing melodies to a pre written chord progression. Writing songs from original lyric ideas. Basic song structures.
