Chris is a versatile musician based in New Jersey, excelling as a pianist, organist, and teaching artist. He discovered his passion for music at a young age, starting piano lessons at six and fostering a deep love for music ever since. His primary joy lies in sharing music with others, particularly through music education. As a highly sought-after piano teacher, Chris runs a diverse studio catering to students of all ages, from 3 to 73. He is deeply committed to piano pedagogy and collaborative music-making. Since 2017, he has been teaching private lessons, witnessing his students achieve success in performance and composition competitions. He extends his teaching virtually across the United States and internationally in Europe and India, covering private music theory, organ, and guitar lessons. Additionally, he mentors new and aspiring piano teachers to help them gain confidence in private instruction. Recognized for his excellence, Chris received the 2023 Best of Watchung Award in the Piano Instructor category. His recent performances include solo piano recitals at prestigious venues like Steinway Hall, NYC, and Leshowitz Recital Hall in Montclair, NJ. He also engages in lecture recitals, focusing on the life and music of J.S. Bach. Internationally, he has performed and studied in cities such as Athens, London, and Leipzig. Currently pursuing a Bachelor of Music Degree in Music Education at the Cali School of Music, Montclair State University, Chris studies under esteemed instructors Drs. David Witten, Fei-Fei Dong for piano, and Dr. John Miller for organ. Concurrently, he is working towards a Master’s Degree in Music Education from MSU, seeking NJ P-12 Music Education Certification and Special Education Certification.
