String workshops (violins, violas, cellos) exploring traditional and popular world music such as Irish music, Scandinavian music, eastern music, bluegrass, Latin American music, gypsy music , klezmer, blues and swing.
In this workshop, we will see how to accompany a melody, invent other voices, improvise on chords or on a scale.
We will discover the harmony, the structures and the different modes used in the different pieces discussed.
A good knowledge of the 1st to the 3rd position and a good reading of scores are required for this workshop.

With a heterogeneous background and passionate music of all horizons, I propose a teaching based on several types of repertoire: classical, jazz, gypsy, blues, Irish, Eastern countries, klezmer, bluegrass, Swedish.
Graduated from the Royal Conservatory of Brussels in Classical and from the Haute Ecole of Music of Lausanne in pedagogy of jazz and classical violin, I propose private lessons for beginners to advanced, children and adults, with or without basics in Friborg.
I favor a playful approach favoring creativity and autonomy, through various activities and games for children.
I also teach piano, solfeggio and I offer introductory music lessons for the little ones, as well as string workshops on world music for the most advanced.
