As a non-native, I am aware of the difficulties that one can encounter as a French speaker in learning Chinese. Some things that seem to go without saying for natives ask us for clarification and time that I needed, and that I wish to pass on in turn. I also know that private tuition prices are often too high for many students (as they were for me). Knowledge should be accessible, especially in private lessons. I will always make sure my rates are negotiable. You cannot learn without understanding. Too many Mandarin teachers focus on practicing modern Chinese without teaching the etymology of the characters in order to understand the evolution of such a rich language over time. Understanding the evolution of the language and its characteristics is therefore essential for me, according to the Inalco method. In the Chinese language, I think the most important thing is to focus on reading and oral comprehension, as well as oral practice through conversation above all. It is useless to make beginners repeat sentences over and over again, you have to make the language live. My course is primarily aimed at beginners, false beginners and "low-intermediate", from HSK 1 to HSK 3 approximately (between 0 and 1000 known words). I can also prepare more intensively for HSK exams at the request of students. I can teach face-to-face as well as via webcam.
