Hello, I’m Charis. I have graduated with a Master of Physics Degree from Durham University, UK. I achieved 3 A*s at A-level in Maths, Further Maths and Physics as well as As in Biology and Chemistry. I believe my broad scientific background, gave me the experience to understand that tackling maths and physics problems is not just a method/recipe to be followed blindly. You need to think and understand a question which will enhance your approach to new ideas in the future. Having completed the TEFL (teaching English as a foreign language) certificate, I have the experience to teach people ages 5-17. Furthermore, acting as a college basketball coach helped me develop my ability to recognise problems and establish ways to approach them. I believe I have a friendly and patient character which would give my students the courage to ask any questions while enjoying their time learning
