English Tutoring for all age groups, from KS2 all the way up to A-level English Literature. I offer hour long sessions where I can offer sessions which are tailored to the needs of your child, whether this being short and engaging activities or exam preparation activities for a child who is preparing for their exams. After each session I complete a fully detailed report of our session detailing what went well, where we can improve and what we aim to cover in the upcoming sessions! I specialise in English Language and Literature GCSE tutoring and am very familiar with most exam boards and Literature texts. I take a pupil first approach and try center learning around the child’s needs and Interests as I believe this is the best way for engagement! I am a friendly and approachable tutor who is encouraging and is very adaptable to differing levels of knowledge and skill. I believe this helps me greatly in getting to know the students needs and making best use of the time we have together! I also tutor physical education at GCSE and Al-evel where I am particularly knowledgeable as I have recently completed a degree in sports and exercise sciences at Durham. I have also had experience working with SEN students where I have worked with ADHD and dyslexia and have some excellent resources which suit the differing needs of different individuals.
