For young students, I prefer fun, illustrated methods, often with CD to accompany them. For the older ones, I try to balance between technical studies and pieces and also adapts to their request. For young children, I note the important elements seen in class and things to do in a small notebook. The presence of a parent who supervises the practice outside the classes would be optimal!
