Students will explore the essential techniques and tools used in modern music production. Designed for beginners and those with basic knowledge of music, this course covers the fundamental aspects of creating, recording, arranging, and mixing music. Key topics include: Introduction to Digital Audio Workstations (DAWs e.g., Ableton Live, Logic Pro, FL Studio) Recording techniques MIDI programming and sequencing Audio editing, effects processing, and mixing fundamentals Music production theory and structure (songwriting, arrangement, dynamics) Students will be able to receive personalised feedback on their work. By the end of the course, they will have produced their own original track, giving them the tools and confidence to continue developing their production skills.
