I have been teaching languages to all ages for the past 30 years. I took early retirement in July 2022 and have since been tutoring privately, with a very high success rate.. I have taught in the same secondary school for the past 21 years and my classes have performed well in French and German at GCSE and A level. I have also done a lot of teaching English as a foreign language, to guests in our house.

I am a semi retired MFL teacher with over 30 years experience. Since taking early retirement two years ago, I have been successfully delivering private tuition to a range of learners, including adults and younger children. I can offer French and German from beginners to advanced level. I can also offer English as a second language. My lessons involve including all four skills (listening, speaking, reading and writing) I have been tutoring via Zoom for the past 15 months and can provide excellent, independently verifiable testimonials from past and current clients. I have an in depth knowledge of the requirements of all the main exam boards. I have tutored students for GCSE, IGCSE (Cambridge and Edexcel) as well as standard and higher IB and Advanced level French and German.
