Trusted teacher: Are you interested in learning the fundamentals of contemporary dance while also gaining a deeper insight into your own personal movement style, working on the mobility and flexibility of the body and learning to express yourself in your own unique way? I offer classes in three different areas: (there is of course the possibility of tailoring the lesson combining elements of all three classes, depending on the needs and wishes of the student) 1. Contemporary dance Lesson description: We will learn the basic skills of contemporary dance (release technique) and floorwork, improve mobility and learn choreographic sequences and soft acrobatics. The classes are structured around a dynamic warm-up and strengthening, mobilization of the muscles and activation of the core, the spine and the limbs. Engaging in floorwork exercises, the focus is on gaining control of our weight, on moving with flow and continuity without excessive muscular force and on saving energy and avoiding injuries. We will learn basic skills and soft acrobatics (shoulder rolls, spiral rolls, floor spins, knee slides, handstands). During the end of the lesson, we create a choreography sequence and cool- down with relaxation and stretching exercises. Benefits: body awareness, reduced stress, improved balance & coordination, flexibility, core strength, self - expression, boost of energy & confidence 2. Dance condition (workout/barre/fitness) Lesson Description: The purpose of the course is to teach essential tools in order for students to enhance flexibility and strength, body awareness and coordination. The lesson starts with a warm-up of guided improvisation to music. We continue with short barre exercises. We make use of conditioning, strengthening and coordination, barre workout and balance exercises. The lesson aims to improve the body's range of motion, flexibility, stability, and overall functional movement. Through guided exercises the students learn how to enhance their physical fitness and prevent injuries. Every lesson ends with a cool-down. Benefits: enhanced creativity and spontaneity, confidence and relaxation, reduced stress, body awareness 3. Movement & improvisation Lesson description: The purpose of the lesson is for students to explore their personal movement and their compositional skills, to feel comfortable with spontaneous movement and enhance body awareness and creativity through movement. We will start with a warm-up of guided improvisation and some short warm-up exercises to prepare for the lesson. We will make use of improvisational techniques to train our awareness and responsiveness, to learn how to incorporate flow and effortlessness to our movement in order to prevent injuries and we will use music and sound as tools to expand our movement vocabulary and free our body of stress, forms and stiffness. The lesson is also suitable for actors/ performers or dancers of all levels and styles who wish to expand their movement language and return to basics in order to explore anew their bodies' possibilities from different perspectives. Each lesson lasts one hour. All lessons are suitable for all levels (beginner - intermediate - advanced). All lessons are tailored to the needs and wishes of students.

Holder of a Bachelor's degree in contemporary dance and creation of multidisciplinary performances from the Iceland University of the Arts, a Master 2 in Art Research & International Creation from the University of Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne, I am an artist member of the International Dance Council at UNESCO. Trusted teacher: 📌It doesn't always take two for things to work... To begin to connect, assimilate and experiment with new KNOWLEDGE, the most IMPORTANT thing is the body, the attitude, perseverance and a great pinch of confidence! I always like to approach the codes of different dance disciplines, based on structures that work on the physical, rhythmic, and creative aspects. There is an idea that Tango is difficult to learn, and of course if we approach it with that label, it will be that way. Starting from the main concept of tango, WALKING, something that we all do most of the time, dancing tTANGO is within everyone's reach.🤗 Another very important point is the way to assimilate and understand it 😉😅 ❤️‍🔥What will the classes be like, you ask? I'll tell you a little bit, we are going to develop the structure in the work of weight changes, the step, projection of the walk, the pivot, understanding the kinesphere individually and as a couple translated into the hug, the turns and the spiral torso to understand the momentum in various exercises, the eights so famous in tango, the basic step and universal exit, walks with the concept of lanes and much more from various sequences that familiarize you with the technical needs to be able to perform the steps without leaving aside the dynamics, pulse, accent and compas of the tango. Everything will be raised in the background in a more organic way. It's not just about learning individual steps, and then...what do we do 🧐? It is not the form that should take the leading role, but the way in which you express that form. We will also let your creative and playful side be part of the process, through a tool that I consider very valuable, which is improvisation 👌 since it allows you to find your own style and recognize your strengths and weaknesses to continue growing in your passion for dance. With all these tools, entering the world of more complex sequences and why not, creating your own, will be one more step and not an impossible challenge to achieve.🤩 Don't forget that the steps that are known today and a large part of the sequences emerged from a restless and creative mind, which explored synonymous with IMPROVISE❗️ Let's go through the process together and hold each other in a hug.

French tutoring with a native speaker : Learn, Improve and Enjoy! (Paris)
Tiffany
Very sweet lady who is always asking how she can improve and cater her lessons towards your personal needs! Knows very well the French language and not on a fluent level, but also the technicalities behind it. Is willing to take time with you and work on your mistakes, as well as trying to explain some French key moments that are difficult to understand for foreign language speakers in a way that is understandable. Always makes sure to challenge you and sees how you can improve! Had a very lovely experience :)

Master Class: Create a Strong and Progressive Ballet Technique (5-Lesson Workshop)
Elena
Elena is a phenomenal teacher with extensive ballet knowledge. Thanks to her corrections, I received compliments from the ballet master in our company on my progress and the cleanliness of my technique. Elena excelled at explaining the logic behind each movement and its impact on my technique, while also being exceptional at helping with artistic expression. I highly recommend her if you are looking to improve your technique whether it’s pirouettes or jumps, or artistic presence.

In-person or virtual dance classes! Have you always wanted to learn to dance? Do you think you have two left feet? Come and check! (Bogotá)
Linda
I had the BEST time learning to dance with Linda! I have always considered myself to be someone with "two left feet" and was very nervous to start, but Linda did a great job of building my confidence right from the start! Linda tailored the classes exactly to my needs, and was really communicative and flexible with scheduling. I highly recommend her to anyone who wants to learn to dance in Bogotá!
