I am of American and German origin having grown up in the Geneva region. I graduated with a Bachelor and a Master in performance from the Haute Ecole de Musique de Lausanne; followed by a year of advanced training at the Royal College of Music in London. I almost have 10 years of teaching experience, but I continue to evolve and adapt to everyone's demands. ********** My teaching method is based on a balanced approach not only to cello playing, but also towards music in general. A technical approach to the instrument combined with musicality and sensitivity can make anyone, at any level, a well-rounded musician. Working together, we will develop technique, providing us cellists with the necessary tools to express ourselves. As a cellist I've had the pleasure and honour of collaborating with renowned artists such as Hans Zimmer, being part of his 2022 European Tour Orchestra, touring over 15 countries and playing in locations such as London's O2 Arena or Ziggo Dome in Amsterdam. I am now mainly active as a performer of contemporary/experimental music, as well as classical music, freelancing in various orchestras in the Netherlands, having played in venues such as Muziekgebouw aan 't IJ, Concertgebouw or TivoliVredenburg.
