I hold a degree in Vocal Performance (Classical + Pop/rock) & Musicology, and finished my studies at Fontys AMPA (Opera). I have also trained as an actor (film & theatre) at the Mulholland Academy in Amsterdam. My lessons are entirely tailored to your personal wishes. We begin with a discussion about what you'd like to learn, and we work toward your own ideal voice and sound. We can choose classical, operatic, popular, or musical repertoire - or other styles that interest you. The focus is always on healthy, sustainable technique. You can also choose to work on different elements: we can focus only on singing technique, but also on performance or dramatic skills, song interpretation, audition preparation, your speaking voice, stage fright..all questions are welcome! If you have those concerns, I would love to help you. I like to focus the classes in such a way that the current drawing level of the student is not what is important. The room for improvement will always evolve. I like to take my classes towards character design, towards general things like the psychology of color and shapes, since they are assimilable and highly useful concepts, independent of the level of drawing. For this reason, my classes are aimed at all ages and drawing levels. I also try to focus them on the preferences and tastes of each student, showing them that everything they like, they like for a reason, that nothing is left to chance and that they can also understand how to make their drawings reflect what they want to convey. Even to create your portfolios or visual information for your own project or story. I give private classes with students from different parts of the world, so many of my classes I have been able to do in both English and French. I studied 2D animation in France, and thanks to this training, my work has been nourished by dynamism, storytelling, expressiveness, typical of this medium, as well as the sensitivity for color and shapes that I usually use to infuse a unique style both to my original designs as well as my fanarts.

Charlotte is a superb instructor. I took classes with her at her home for several months to improve my public speaking skills. During each session, Charlotte helped me work on my tone and delivery through various public speaking exercises. Charlotte asked me to prepare short written assignments before our meetings, so that I could practice delivering my script using various speaking techniques during the class. For these assignments, Charlotte was very engaged and made sure that the assignments would assist me in my specific professional goals. She did this by tailoring the subject matter to my professional work - mostly legal and political matters - and she pushed me to consider what I wanted to achieve from my audience with each speaking opportunity. Charlotte, however, is not only a skilled professional. She is also a tremendously kind, energetic and dynamic person to work with. She made me feel comfortable sharing my vulnerabilities, which made the process of receiving constructive feedback a fun and welcomed experience. I so enjoyed my class with Deborah! Immediately from when I first went in, I felt very comfortable. It was a really fun session, we went through different songs that I like, for her to get a feeling for my voice. She also already gave me some really helpful advice, which I can already feel the difference in how much power I have in my voice! I am really looking forward to my future sessions with her.
