Trusted teacher: Hello to everyone! I'm Sophie, a yoga teacher who recently graduated from the Yoga Room Academy in Brussels (200 hours including tax). I am starting to teach formally, but my passion for yoga has been with me for many years, and I have been fortunate to share my teaching with friends, family and in groups. Starting my teaching practice, I am very grateful to be able to share these moments and learn with each new student! My classes and teachings cover Hatha, Vinyasa and Yin yoga - I like to incorporate a little something for everyone. Each style brings its own special touch, but for me the main thing is to create a space where you can move, breathe and just be. With me, yoga will be more than physical postures; we will also delve into meditation, breathing and mindfulness. No need for perfect postures or Instagram-worthy flexibility here, or being the yoga studio stereotype. It is important to me that the courses will reflect you, embracing your unique background, your needs and aspirations. Whether you are a seasoned yogi or a total beginner, you are welcomed with open arms, and I will make sure to create an experience tailored to where you are coming from. I emphasize a good relationship with my students, guiding them to connect with their body, rather than doing an exercise class. At the end of each class, I hope that you will have found a moment of well-being, relaxation and relaxation! ------- Hi I'm Sophie, I am a recent graduate yoga teacher from the Yoga Room academy in Brussels, with a 200-hour certification. At the end of each class, I hope students will find a moment of self-care, fun, and relaxation!

Trusted teacher: A full course of one hour (60 min) with the possibility of reserving for a longer duration (90 min). My classes are mainly oriented on the connection with the breath, the anchoring and the deep muscular work. The lessons are adapted according to the level of the students, and I offer several variations: Hatha Yoga: general category which encompasses most of the styles practiced. "Hatha" means "perseverance", "effort" or even "determination". To be determined to achieve liberation within a certain period. This discipline is in relation with "prana", the vital force and its two components: masculine energies, considered as solar and active + feminine energies considered as lunar and passive. From there was born another interpretation according to which "Ha" & "Tha" would mean the sun and the moon united and balanced through the practice of Hatha yoga. The soul being the sun, constant and stable in its brilliance and luminosity, the spirit being the moon, constantly fluctuating and changing like the phases of the moon. The basic principle of Hatha yoga being to unite and harmonize the opposing energies of the body; the mind and its reactions. We unite the body and the spirit to unite the spirit with the universe. A Hatha yoga class consists of physical postures and breathing exercises. The postures are performed slower and last for a few breaths (30 seconds to a few minutes) to promote anchorage and stability. A real in-depth muscular work. Vinyasa Yoga: the Sanskrit term Vinyasa is derived from 2 roots "Nyasa" which means "to place" and "Vi" which can be translated as "in a specific way". Each movement is linked to rhythm and consciously placed to create a dynamic flow. It is a more rhythmic and powerful yoga which allows to link the postures in a harmonious way with transitions commonly called "vinyasa" and used in particular during the sun salutations. Here we retain the postures in a shorter time than during a Hatha yoga session, but we are still aware of our movements and our alignment. Yin Yoga: a gentle yoga, for people looking for relaxation, a stretching work inspired by Yin Yoga to release muscle tension and settle into letting go. I invite you to discover Yoga with Hope Arts Studio or to deepen your knowledge if you are already practicing. Meditation: work on the chakras; the 7 main energy centers of the body, often represented by 7 specific colors. During this session, we will focus on a particular chakra to balance and / or unblock it through breathing techniques and guided meditation. We will also explore mindfulness meditation, bringing the moment to the present moment, reconnecting to your “inner self” consciously and without judgment, examining thoughts and emotions. This practice is beneficial for relieving tension and everyday stress. Possibility of private or semi-private lessons in the studio, at home or online. I teach in French and English.

Trusted teacher: Hey yogis! I'm currently living in San Juan del Sur, Nicaragua. If you found yourself staying in this beautiful town or live here permanently, I invite you to try a class with me. If you're somewhere else in the world, looking for an online yoga experience, feel free to contact me. I am a certified Yoga Vinyasa and Yin Yoga instructor. I obtained a certificate of a 200-hour Yoga Vinyasa teaching training and a 50-hour Yin Yoga teacher training accredited by Yoga Allience. I also completed Yoga Vinyasa teacher training according to Basia Łukaszczyk's original program and participated in yoga workshops. Currently, I finished 40-hour Yoga Nidra teacher training. To learn more about my education and working experience you can visit my profile. My favourite styles of yoga are Vinyasa, Yin Yoga, Yoga Nidra and everything in-between. I always create classes based on your needs and wishes. Yoga Vinyasa is a dynamic practice in which breath guides the movement. We will mainly focus on standing and sitting asanas and flowing transitions. This practice warms up the body, strengthens and stretches it. By concentrating on the breath it allows you to rest from the racing thoughts and emotions. Yin Yoga affects deep tissues, including tendons and fascia. It is a static practice in which we stay in deep stretching positions for extended periods of time which allows to increase mobility and range of motion in the joints. In this stillness we devote ourselves to inner work - directing the breath to places that need it the most and observing and calming our thoughts. Yoga Nidra is a magical experience of building the sensation of wholeness within you. It will relax you, may also activate emotions which have been living within you for some time. In Yoga Nidra classes you stay in Savasana or sitting position and follow my voice. Classes include body scanning, breathing technics and visualizations. We try to relax you and at the same time work with traumas, anxiety and other challenging states and feelings. If you are still interested, let me know and we will try to create a nice experience for you! Monika

Trusted teacher: Hey there! My name is Tessy, and let me tell you, yoga isn't just a practice for me—it's been my lifeline. Picture this: a journey from burnout, battling anxiety, and feeling emotionally stuck to where I stand now—empowered, joyful, and fully present. Yoga's been my rock through it all. But here's the thing: it's not about erasing life's challenges; it's about thriving through them. Yoga taught me focus, gave me resilience during tough times, and showed me the beauty of consistency, determination, and patience. And oh boy, did it help me fall in love with myself, my body, and this crazy thing called life again. Now, I'm on a mission to share this transformative experience with you. Join me in a class where we dive into spiritual practices—Asana (yes, those soul-stirring exercises), Pranayama (the art of breathwork), and meditation. The goal? Your personal journey within, finding your balance and inner peace. Sure, we'll work on the physical aspect, but it's not about how bendy or strong you are. It's about connecting with your body, unlocking energy channels, and reigniting your life force. And hey, expect a pleasant surprise—improved balance, strength, and flexibility might just sneak up on you. This class? It's tailor-made for you. We'll craft it around your needs and desires because, in the world of yoga, it's all about your journey. Yoga isn't just about poses; it's a life philosophy. Take what you learn on the mat, and watch it ripple through your entire life. Seriously, it's transformative. So, if this sparks something within you, join us for our next class. Your inner journey awaits!

Martina
My daughter who is 11, took online Yoga classes with Martina, and she really enjoyed it. Martina had a way to connect with her which worked very well; during the class, when teaching to my daughter Yoga movements, and after the class, as Martina asked my daughter to reflect on a number of subjects which were always excellent and helped her notice and appreciate what was around her. So overall, this was a brilliant experience with a brilliant teacher I fully recommend.
