I have a knack for languages, having travelled to Guatemala to learn pastoral Spanish which I used in my mission experience in Benque Viejo del Carmen Town, Belize. I know how important and daunting learning a language can be. I have taught foreigners English as a second language. I am a writer for a local newspaper in Belize and help university students to edit their essays and research papers. I won the Youth Worker Award from The Commonwealth in 2016 for the Caribbean and Americas Regions, so I can also help with coaching, leadership, resume preparation and job interview preparation. I have an MBA (International Banking and Finance) (distinction) and I can teach business English. Having worked in the oil and gas industry for over ten years, I can also help with report writing and presentation skills. My aim is to make the lessons fun and engaging. Depending on what you want to learn, we can customize the classes. If you would like support and tutoring on homework or topics you are studying in school I can support students with this and help them achieve in school. My class would be perfect for either adults or children. Each class will be personalised to your needs and abilities with the first class used to evaluate your level and how we can best use further classes to improve your abilities and see results.

Zelf ben ik voornamelijk werkzaam als schrijver van theaterteksten, maar ik heb ook ervaring met het schrijven van liedteksten, literaire vertalingen, essays etc.. Alle teksten benader ik dus vanuit een creatieve insteek en artistieke visie. Als theaterauteur houd ik me ook bezig met hoe een tekst klinkt - klinkt het niet prettig, dan kan hij vast beter geschreven worden. Als coach richt ik me vooral op het geven van feedback op de teksten die je schrijft en help ik je graag op weg met opdrachten om te beginnen met schrijven en/of om het gevreesde writersblock af te schudden. Trusted teacher: This course aims to help participants on three major points that hamper them from producing quality written products: lack of adequate and advanced vocabulary, advanced ideas, and advanced grammar. This course entwines these three points with global economic, political, and environmental issues which also aim to extend students’ general knowledge about global issues, just to name a few, ethics, technology, global supply chain, global warming, food security, business, etc. The basic philosophy behind this study is to help students advance their writing skills by introducing them to new ideas, concepts, advanced grammar structures, and advanced levels of vocabulary in a meaningful context. The course takes its roots in rhetoric, the art of persuasion. The participants are encouraged to approach the issues from broader, analytical, and critical vantage points in order to write impressive pieces. Making a comprehensive analysis of the topics covered in this course is aimed primarily at the participants to reach a comprehensive and strong level of knowledge about the topics they will write about. The rationale behind the course is as follows: in order to write an advanced-level article, having advanced, in-depth, and multidimensional knowledge is imperative. For this reason, the intellectual knowledge of the participants is developed within the scope of this course.
