Trusted teacher: Are you curious about singing, but feel like you don’t know where to start? Do you already have some experience of singing and are curious about what your voice could achieve at its full potential? Do you feel shy about your voice and wish you could feel confident enough to sing in front of other people? I am Olivia, a professional opera singer who is passionate about teaching singers a healthy vocal technique in all styles of singing, and helping them to grow in confidence along the way. My teaching room is a safe space where students are free to experiment, make mistakes and discover everything about their voice with my full support! I have been teaching singing privately to pupils of all ages and levels for several years, as well as enjoying a busy performance career. I find that being a regular performer myself is very important when imparting knowledge and advice to my students because I want to teach you more than just the mechanics of singing - I want to guide you towards being an artist and expressing YOUR unique voice and personality. I work on vocal technique, drama and language, and have worked with children, teenagers, and adults - both those hoping to sing professionally and enthusiastic amateurs! Every lesson will include warmups and technical exercises as well as work on repertoire that we will choose together. I can teach in English, French or Italian. As for my performance experience: I began taking singing lessons at 13 years old after joining the school choir in secondary school in London, and adored the process of training my voice. In my teens, I performed in concerts as a soloist and also in a few musical theatre roles, most notably Dorothy in the Wizard of Oz. I moved to Switzerland and trained as an opera singer at the Haute Ecole de Musique de Genève, and did a Specialised Masters (Soloist) at the Hochschule der Künste Bern. I have since gone on to perform with the opera houses of Geneva, Lausanne and Lucerne, the Opera House of Zrenjanin in Serbia, the Jeunesses Musicales Opera Studio (Croatia), London Grimeborn Festival, and have been a featured soloist at such concert venues as the Berlin Philharmonic, Salle Paderewski in Lausanne, the BFM in Geneva, the Cologne Philharmonic, and St Johns Smith Square in London. Most recently you may have seen me as Mrs P. in the Swiss première of Michael Nyman's 'The Man who mistook his Wife for a Hat' in Vevey, or if you've been enjoying the program 'Blob Opera' this year, you might be interested to know that I was one of the opera singers working on this project by recording hours of material for a machine to create an algorithm that recreating an opera singer's voice! Good singing is about solid and healthy vocal technique, a good feeling for music, self-expression and confidence! I would love to work with you to build all of these parts of yourself and to see where your voice takes you. If you have any questions, please do get in touch with me!

Trusted teacher: You have a unique instrument inside the body, your own voice! With my guidance, you learn how to develop and explore this instrument in a healthy and fun way in a safe laboratory, with the repertoire of your choice (classical or the lighter genre). These lessons are for every level and age! About me: The Belgian soprano Jolien (°1992) started her studies in Music Education and obtained her master’s degree in June 2015. In June 2021 Jolien graduated from Luca School of Arts Leuven with a master’s degree for Classical Voice, with her teacher Catherine. Jolien had numerous masterclasses in LUCA School of Arts where has worked with some prominent artists such as Thomas Blondelle, Ilse Eerens, Daniela Musca, Rosemary Joshua, Audrey Hyland, Mariette Witteveen en Clemens Morgenthaler. As a participant at the masterclasses organized by Triomphe de l’Art, Jolien worked with Nino Machaidze, Angélique Noldus and Anna Samuil. During her education as a classical singer, Jolien worked in operaprojects led by Michel Tilkin: Mrs. Gobineau (The Medium, G.C. Menotti), Second Woman (Dido and Aeneas, H. Purcell), King Harald’s Saga voor solo soprano (Judith Weir) and Fiordiligi (Così fan tutte, Mozart). In November 2021 she sang the role of Vitellia (Clemenza di Tito) directed by J. Verlinden and M. Hasepeslagh. This December she will perform the banker’s wife Liliane in Le Chat, a micro- opera of Damien Parmentier, directed by Daniel Donies. She teaches in Academie Regio Tienen and Academie Tessenderlo.

Trusted teacher: SONGS generally consist of chord and text lines. But where does that information come from and how do you make something out of nothing? How do you make that one great hIT or how strongly does your new song affect your love? Well, that's called "inspiration processing" and how does that work? Well, I'll tell you that in my course. If you already play the guitar or piano, you are one step ahead. Your instrument is like a trampoline that offers you more options to go further and higher. Most 'songs' are born at the craziest moments. A good songwriter his / her antennas are always open :-) and for some it is a continuous activity. During my course I teach you through all sorts of tips and tricks (including: Travel Chord Duo Method - One Four Five and minor input - Key Word Designation and Relative Chord Progressions etc.) how you can achieve strong songs. For me it is a daily activity and I have been writing all my life for others and sometimes for myself. All in all I have sold more than a million copies worldwide as an author / composer / performer. Is that little or is that a lot? I do not know. It doesn't interest me that much anymore. I want to share my knowledge about how to write a song with motivated people who want to go further than just replaying others' songs. Whether they get stuck somewhere during composing and who are not afraid to seek advice. Music is a life flirt. There are only two types of music: good and bad ... Do you have a foundation of chords, do you want to know how to make a good song .....? Just book an hour to get started. That is the scan hour. Are we lying together and is there a click? If you book and I confirm, then you also know who I am and where I hide :-) Not satisfied after the first 'lesson'? Money Back. Danny

Trusted teacher: Are you interested in : -learning piano or singing? -improving your piano level? -learning music theory? -practicing your pieces with an experienced pianist (correpetition)? I am the person for YOU !! My name is Bianca and I am 24 years old. Having grown up with music from my very first steps, I began learning the piano at the age of 4. My long piano studies, beginning with the Suzuki method (adapted for young children) and ending with a Master's degree at the Conservatoire Supérieur National de Musique et de Danse de Paris, have forged a solid piano technique and school, enabling me to help all types of students, beginners and professionals alike! My studies at the Schola Cantorum de Paris and the CRR de Saint-Maur led to five years at the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse de Paris, where I obtained a Bachelor's and Master's degree under the direction of Claire Désert, enabling me to experiment with different schools of piano technique, in particular the Russian method. The many masterclasses I attended with internationally renowned teachers such as Tatiana Zelikman, Lilya Zilberstein and Ruben Dalibaltayan enriched my musical knowledge, which I'd now like to share with you! My passion for opera singing was born around the age of ten and has only grown with age, leading me to start my Bachelor's degree in opera singing at the Musik-Akademie Basel in 2021 in Marcel Boone's class. The invaluable advice I received from renowned teachers such as Margreet Honig, Elene Golgevit and Snezana Stamenkovic inspired me to share my enriching knowledge of vocal technique from the Bel Canto school. My aim is to build a healthy vocal technique so that your voice is free and brilliant. Don't hesitate to contact me for more information.

Trusted teacher: A TCM-certified vocal instructor and vocal coach, I teach beginning and advanced singers, amateur and pro. I teach principles of healthy, balanced phonation using the TCM approach. TCM is an evidence-based approach to vocal health for speaking and singing, developed by British voice researcher and teacher Allan Wright. It is based on current research in vocal physiology, acoustics, vocal rehabilitation and vocal pedagogy, and caters to all singers, regardless of musical style or aesthetics. I also provide classes to actors and all other voice professionals who wish to train or re-train their voice for speaking or singing. I also offer artistic coaching in my classes, approaching interpretation in full respect of the style in which singers wish to express their artistry, providing them with a toolbox of targeted, effective, playful techniques to help them achieve their musical goals. I like to create and maintain a collaborative, focused and benevolent working atmosphere in all of my classes and workshops. As a singer, I self-accompany on piano or guitar, and I offer singers who accompany themselves training tips to enhance their self-accompanied singing and/or playing. Singers/actors/voice professionals may choose to have lessons either on a regular basis or occasionally, whenever they seek a solution to a particular vocal problem. Each class includes a vocal warm-up, discussion of vocal or musical objective for the class, followed by work on a song or text - or passage from a song or text - which the singer needs technical or musical help with. Classes end with a short vocal cool-down and a recap of what we worked on and what proved most helpful, so that students know precisely what to work on between classes. I was trained and certified in Nantes (France) by Allan Wright, and have been teaching TCM since 2012 to singers who express themselves in different musical styles. I also use TCM in corporate and community settings to help voice professional from all venues. TCM brings about rapid and lasting benefits both to singers who wish to develop a healthy, powerful singing voice, and to singers or speakers who seek relief from vocal fatigue and need to retrain their voice to cope with the vocal demands of their profession.

Trusted teacher: No, we don't think that being able to sing is absolutely necessary for actors. Not every actor or actress has the ambition to appear in a musical and not every series or film features singing. Still, vocal coaching is a good idea... whether you want to learn to sing or not! With your course fee you can participate in any of our courses whenever you want. This way you can not only learn to act, but also taste our courses in debate and presentation techniques (our TV course), communication, singing, improvisation, 'physical acting', lie detection, hypnosis, directing, or writing! Of course, the following applies: the more you follow 1 particular course, the faster you progress. More info Anyone who has ambitions as a singer or who wants to expand his or her skills to make it easier to land a role will soon end up taking singing lessons... but also those who have no intention of ever performing songs. can benefit greatly from vocal coaching. You often have to be on set for a long time and then it is important to use your voice properly, so that it does not get tired and you can speak as powerfully after hours of recording as before. Finally, it is very useful to be able to put different effects on your voice. Just think of the raspy character of Gollum in The Lord of the Rings, the barking explanations of Samson, the full voice of Kabouter Plop or the grunted insults exchanged in The Chronicles of Sabrina. Judiciously used voice effects can not only add color to characters, they are sometimes essential or almost automatically arise from emotional moments. So being able to use them correctly and maintain control over them without damaging your vocal cords is essential. What you learn As is the case with almost all of our courses, we teach you techniques from different approaches. For our singing lessons, these are Speech Level Singing (SLS), Estill Voice Training (EVT) and Complete Vocal Technique (CVT). Here are some things that will pass in review: • The similarities and differences between the three major singing techniques • Using support • The larynx, lips, and other organs that help control voice production • Add necessary twang • Add air or not • Different vocal modes (with CVT): neutral, curbing, overdrive and edge. • Variety of voice effects including: creaking, distortion, grunting, rattling, screaming, vibrato and ornamentation • For actors: relationship between voice color, effects and the playing of all kinds of characters • For actors: the relationship between stem kle Extras • Help with the CV • Assistance with admissions • Help in choosing the right equipment • Help with finding auditions • Syllabus with pdf of the book Complete Vocal Technique You can participate whenever you want!

Trusted teacher: [ENGLISH BELOW] Unleash your vocal potential while staying comfortably at home. Historically, I preferred in-person singing lessons, but there are several situations where this is not the most accessible or even the most desired option! In 2020, I began leading group singing and vocal technique workshops online, and since then, I have been able to develop exercises that meet the individual needs of each singer in order to offer personalized programs. These exercises are based on the singing pedagogy that I studied during my singing diplomas (BAC +3, then an additional year (BAC +4 equivalent) and several short courses). The exercises take into account the physiological function of the voice and our entire body as an instrument. In these lessons, we will cover vocal techniques, breathing, voice placement as well as develop knowledge of the mechanism of the voice, articulators and muscles that stabilize breathing and breathing. We dedicate time at the end of each class to sing one or more songs to practice the techniques learned. These courses are perfect for people who do not have the opportunity to take face-to-face lessons due to weather or their geographical location, but also for those who want to start learning to sing with less anxiety. And for those who prefer to practice their English at the same time, your lessons can be in English (my mother tongue) or in French, or a mix of the two! .... Looking for an English-speaking singing teacher based in France? Unleash your vocal potential from the comfort of your own home; either in French, or English, or in a mix of both! English is my first language, so lessons in English are no problem at all, whether it's your first, second or even third + language! Why am I offering these online? Historically, I preferred in-person singing lessons, but there are several situations where this is not the most accessible or preferred option. In 2020, I started conducting online group workshops and since then, I have developed exercises that meet the individual needs of each singer to offer personalized programs. The exercises are based on the singing pedagogy I studied during my singing bachelor degree, postgraduate diploma, and short courses. They consider the physiological function of the voice and our entire body as an instrument, so are based in science, and translated into ways we can think and feel when (and before) we sing. During each lesson, you'll work on exercises for you to develop an understanding of your own voice and body-as-instrument. The exercises will help you unlock ways to engage and relax your muscles and articulators in order to both support the breath and reduce vocal fatigue. Depending on your goals, we'll dedicate a certain amount of time during each session to apply these techniques into songs you're singing, or new ones you're wanting to learn. These courses are perfect for people who do not have the possibility to take in-person lessons due to time constraints, mobility considerations or geographic location, but also for those who wish to start their singing lessons now, but are a bit anxious to meet in person at first!

Singing & Recording Lessons with a Professional Singer. (Brussels)
Juliett
I have wanted singing lessons for some time; I had them briefly in my youth and I sing and play guitar for a hobby. Juliett showed me some good tips already in the first lesson and left me some good warming up techniques that I shall practice every day before a our next lesson. Juliett is very friendly and before I knew it she had me singing high notes I did not know I was capable of reaching. The lesson was fun, I enjoyed every second and I’m looking forward to the next. She clearly has a beautiful voice herself and knows the correct techniques using classical methods to get the most out of a voice. We looked at what I wanted to sing, not what she wanted me to sing. Learning should be fun and I’m confident my singing voice will get better over time with these techniques that are used by professional singers worldwide. 100% this is a five star review; I would give a thousand stars, but the limit is five.

Karolina really strikes the perfect balance between encouragements and challenges to make her student progress.
