My name is Mandy and I'm a vocalist, composer, arranger and bandleader born in Guangdong, China and currently based out of Rotterdam, the Netherland. I teach vocal technique, vocal improvisation, Pop, rock and jazz singing, music theory and composition lessons. Besides being passionate, motivating and inspiring in teaching music, I also focus on creating crossover music between the east and the west. * SINGING LESSONS: (Pop/Jazz/Folk singing, Vocal techniques and vocal improvisation) In our lessons, we will work together on:

I like to personalize them to your goals and needs, from which I create specific exercises for listening, rhythm, technique and music theory (which can seem unapproachable at first) I have seen my students grow through ups and downs through putting in time. The course it's thought with classic technical basics (healthy vocal benefits) but other styles can be added like the musical, jazz, cabaret, etc... Each case will have a personalized answer. I started as a complete beginner and not being really confident about my voice. Nonetheless, Filipe made me feel at ease from the very first lesson. Filipe is really motivating and he conveys his passion for singing during every class, which always makes me feel stronger and reenergized. Also, while he lets you practice and work together on the songs you love, he is very professional and provides guidance in every technical aspect of singing, from breath support and articulation, to finding resonances within your body, as well as how to mentally approach a song.
