Objectives: My aim is to provide an interesting education were students genuinely learn not only to improve in the classroom but outside of it too. I provide special exam-focused classes for GCSE and A-Level students which focus on preparing students for whatever the exam may throw at them in order for them to achieve the best grades possible. I have excelled in academics; have been educated in England all my life and attend the University of Bath. Therefore I also offer counselling on British education and how students can achieve not only top grades but also a place at top British institutions. In my classes, I will aim for students to enjoy themselves whilst also preparing them for whatever aim they seek to achieve no matter how ambitious.

I have five years of experience under my belt (abroad and in Belgium). I have created a teaching method for online courses. The course includes: -The material (articles, videos, exercises from images and texts, grammatical theory, links to the exercises...). I use Google Doc so it's best to have a Gmail address to access it. -The correction of exercises outside of class (the written expressions are corrected outside of class, or with the student, according to his needs). -Access to an application (free) to study vocabulary on your smartphone. -A vocabulary sheet - pronunciation - grammar / conjugation, sent after each course. -If necessary, a vocabulary recording (for beginners). -The realization of online exercises and tests from the sent vocabulary sheets. -Motivation, laughter, good mood :-) My method: - It's based on speaking. -For grammar I use a question/answer method (learned during the training at the CERAN center). -We work on pronunciation with the verbotonal method (exercises for setting your voice, for rhythm, etc.). I might even make you sing! :-) -Everything goes through the spoken word before the written word, but I clearly adapt to the needs of the students. -The course is a little different for children and adolescents: I use interactive games and cards via webcam. It is always a pleasure to meet Phil for our weekly online French classes. He is a patient and kind teacher and always full of energy for our class. Phil is interested in a wide range of topics, so we always have something to talk about based on an article he selected as 'homework'. What I really appreciate about his way of teaching is that he corrects me during our conversation without breaking the flow of our talk, so I can really feel my confidence in speaking French increasing each class. I woulf highly recommend Phil if you are looking for a French tutor :)

Awni is a wonderful instructor! He is very patient, will answer any question you can think of, and can have a laugh with you during lessons as well! His lessons are very helpful and structured, he is willing to go at your pace and repeat or go over things as many times as needed. It is very evident he is professional and has more than enough education and knowledge to teach the language very thoroughly!! I would highly recommend to take him as a teacher!

I had booked Emma to help to improve my children’s English. We had 3 hours of English lessons for 4 days in a row for our three children (10/12/14 years old) and participate ourselves. Emma made it fun for them to learn and took individual care of the different need. Our children and also Mum & Dad enjoyed a lot. We can highly recommend Emma‘s teaching skill and especially her ability to adjust to the individual needs! Thank you Emma!
