The letters of the alphabet are the most important thing that composes words within a sentence, and from them the sentence is formed, so it becomes a conversation, so communication becomes easier and faster. So we'll go over the alphabet quickly. The French alphabet starts out exactly like English but differs in the pronunciation of some letters as well as consonants and vowels. For example , The letter H is pronounced as (ash) in French. (Y) Your reward, and so on. You must know the structure of the phonemes to pronounce the word correctly. The letter (H) is a consonant but is treated like a vowel and is not pronounced at the beginning, middle or end of a word. However, it can be pronounced (Sh) if the letter (C) comes before it. Lesson summary: You must be familiar with the letters and phonemes to get the correct pronunciation of the word, because sometimes there are words that are similar in spelling but different in pronunciation and meaning, as in the word (Livre - Ou -O`u - La - L`a).
