As a language learner, I know how frustrating it can be to attend language classes that teach you English that you can't or won't use in the real world or your daily life. The worst is being unable to say what you want to say when you need to say it, or being unable to understand what the others are saying or laughing at entirely. I also know what it's like to have a vast vocabulary and extensive grammatical knowledge but still be afraid to speak out of fear of making grammatical errors, mispronouncing words, or sounding unnatural. These situations can alienate you, knock your confidence, and demotivate you, especially with a widely spoken language like English. Being unable to understand and express yourself in English confidently, limits your educational and work opportunities and prevents you from connecting with people and learning about different countries and cultures. In this class, I'll teach you the methods I use to overcome such challenges in German, to help you learn, practice, and perfect real-world English tailored to your daily life and learning goals. I'm excited to help you build confidence by improving your fluency, pronunciation, and vocabulary, through songs, videos, articles, conversations, and debates about relevant real-world topics, ranging from daily life to pressing social issues. Beyond that, I'd also love to help you polish and prepare for any school or work interviews and presentations you might have. In addition, I'll use my friendly and patient teaching style and years of experience to create a safe space for you to learn and practice English without judgment or worry. Thank you for taking to the time to read this description, and I can't wait to see you in class soon :)

Dear all, My name is Gabriel and I am passionate by Mathematics. After graduating from High School in Paris with the highest grade in Advanced Mathematics (20/20), I moved to London to pursue a BSc in Pure Mathematics at Imperial College London. Graduating with a First Class Honour, I decided to go to Oxford University for a MSc, where I specialized in Mathematical Sciences. Finally I went back to Paris for a second MSc in Machine Learning at the Ecole Normale Supérieure. After finishing my research internship in Cambridge, I will be starting a PhD in Statistics and Data Science in August at Carnegie Mellon University. Hope this long intro was not too boring, I just had to sell myself a bit! ;) Now on the more interesting stuff, I have always been attracted by teaching to others what I knew and had my first student when I was still in High School. When I moved to the UK, I took this passion to the next level and helped over 20 students from all ages, increasing their results substantially. Through those years of mentoring, I have achieved a method which has concrete and effective results. I propose online private maths lesson (possible with a small group of friends) for all levels. It can range from student in real needs of help, to those wanting to delve deeper in the subject. I am here to share the love I have for this beautiful subject and that's how I am successful in making my student progress. I am always available for my students outside of class hours by messages or phone call if they need. Don't hesitate to contact me if you are interested. I am here to help! :)

Trusted teacher: Who am I? I have a double first class LLB from Essex (2014), and an MPhil in Geo-Strategy (2016) from Oxford. I have been tutoring and teaching for over 15 years in the UK, UAE, Kuwait, and Qatar. I can assist the pupil in the following areas: - Politics/International Relations - English (First or Second Language) - Business Studies, Management & Economics - History - Geography - Urdu and Hindi (both scripts) - Law (Commonwealth) - Qur'anic recitation & understanding and exploration of Islam, its history and its purpose. - Pakistani and Indian history and politics - Islamic history of the subcontinent, with an emphasis on Allama Iqbal - Others, please ask I can help all kinds of students achieve better in the above areas: - Primary School - High School - University Level - Adult education I can also help all kinds of students achieve better results through their written work, for example, university essay writing skills. Further, I can also aid in University applications, for example, personal statements. I have helped write over 65 first-class undergrad essays and 9 dissertations. Lastly, I am very flexible with what I can teach. Contact me and we can discuss your requirements and the level the pupil is at already. If I believe I won't be helping the pupil I will say so. What is my teaching approach? I try to instill into the student interest in the subject by making the subject engaging through discussion and how he/she can contribute to humanity through their work. I tailor lesson plans to the student and go according to his/her pace; and do not move on unless the student has acquired a deep understanding of the subject- not merely superficial or memorization- whereupon they can independently critique and add to the content learned. Reading around the subject and free discussion are crucial aspects of my style of teaching. These, in my experience, are the keys to lifelong learning. With me, the student will enjoy his/her class because they are intellectually challenged to go further and not consider it just 'another hour of tuition'.

Trusted teacher: Dear, My name is Marie and I am a student in the second year of literary preparatory classes (CPGE) at Lycée Louis-le-Grand in Paris (75005). My experience in preparatory classes taught me to work efficiently without neglecting quality; I was able to benefit from a multidisciplinary education which allows me to be comfortable in several diverse and varied subjects, several languages and I would really like to share my skills and my working methods with students, whether they are young ( primary) or older (college-high school). This is why I offer courses between 1 to 2 hours (to be adapted) of: - French (grammar, vocabulary, essays, ...) - letters (analysis of literary texts, comments, ...) - Latin (revision of declensions, conjugations, juxtalinear translation, ...) - English (grammar, vocabulary, oral, reading...) - Spanish (grammar, vocabulary, oral, reading...) - history (retrace the main stages, dates, events, ...) - philosophy (identify the main currents of thought, know the main theses, ...) Whatever the subject(s) chosen, I share with the student simple and effective tools and methods for a better organization of the work (revision sheets, chronological friezes, memo-technical means) adapted to his needs, abilities and level. For students who have difficulty concentrating or memorizing, I try to vary my methods and imagine a different way of teaching. I would add that I am fluent in English (level C1) as well as Spanish (level C1). I remain of course available for any question(s) or additional information(s) concerning my profile. See you soon ! Mary
