I am bilingual Dutch-English with a lot of speaking and writing experience, speak English daily with my Australian partner and enjoy passing on my knowledge to others. In addition, I have a lot of patience for people who have difficulties with different parts of English. I can offer help with sentence structure, grammar, pronunciation, reading skills and vocabulary practice, in order to give you or your child more certainty and guidance in the language. With students I focus on the problem points that exist and I use the school method. If, for example, it appears that a solid foundation is still missing, I can jump in and offer support in learning this. For (young) adults who are not (or no longer) in school, we will mainly focus on vocabulary, correct sentence structure and grammar in the beginners' lessons. However, I also quickly start speaking, reading and listening. I was a bit nervous about starting online classes at first, but Deeni quickly put me at ease. She's incredibly warm and friendly, making it easy for me to open up and be myself. Not only that, but she's a fantastic teacher. Deeni plans our lessons carefully and keeps me in the loop every step of the way. I actually look forward to our hour-long sessions and genuinely have fun during our classes. Deeni has made online learning an enjoyable experience for me. Emily is an excellent teacher and I highly recommend her. All lessons are very well prepared with personnal material. Emily always listen to my needs to base her teaching on what I want to work. Rudi
Rudi assisted my 15 year old son with Geometry on two occasions now. Strong points are as following: very well organised, good command of the subject, very efficient with time, which is not trivial. Well set up for online lessons. Rudi is not big on small / pep talk which may put off some people but my son finds Rudi very helpful. I would recommend for young / older teens who have at least basic independent study skills.
