I understood very early that I like not only learning but also teaching languages and studied my Masters of Linguistics Applied to Teaching Spanish as a Foreign Language. I have lived in France, India, Germany and Russia teaching Spanish. During these 15 years of teaching, I learnt a lot about different methods, people and logics. I use a variety of resources (textbooks, articles, small videos, audios...) providing examples, exercises and homework so that what is to be learnt is doable. I adapt my classes to what students want and need so they make the most of their time and money. I think it is very important for students to feel comfortable and safe. It is also essential that what we do and talk about in class makes sense and is relevant for you. It is your goal and personal style of learning what will define our classes. I also speak English, French, German and Russian. I can explain in the student′ s mother tongue if necessary although my goal will be to speak Spanish from the very beginning with affordable exercises adapted to your level. With a Masters Degree in Teaching Spanish as a Second Language, Yimer is obviously very qualified but he also has a gift of teaching that is very effective in making progress on the learning journey. Part of this has to be in his patience and being a teacher that has a way of explaining things, both in English and Spanish, that make learning easier. I have had quite a few Spanish tutors over the years but Yimer, is clearly the best.

Great communicator, accomodaing pace and very good grasp of the teaching approach. I love it! I have just finished 10 sessions with Javier and I am already renewing, my focus is on getting comfortable speaking in Spanish and using what I have learned. Javier is a wealth of knowledge and can engage the student in any subject ( culture, history, liteature..etc) I am very happy with the classes and highly recommend my instructor!

I thoroughly enjoyed my first lesson with Alvaro. He made me feel very comfortable throughout the lesson and I found myself trying to speak more in Spanish than ever before. That is fantastic as I'm so hesitant with my limited knowledge. He gently guided me through my mistakes and I feel that I learned more in that 1 hour than I have in months and months of trying to learn. I'm looking forward to continuing with Alvaro
