Experimental electronic music composition / Free improvisation (theory & practice) (Rotterdam)
Yannis
We just have started to work with Yannis, but I am really happy about how we progress and feel inspired and looking forward to future lectures.
Yannis teaches me to develop a vision on how to approach working with sound, while recording, processing and using it in electronic composition. I would say he is opening my mind in a way toward the analysing a character of sound as a compositional element.
I like that lessons are not only just about a particular technique (and there are so many to learn from Yannis), but about developing a workflow and a mindset. Examples from historical electronic pieces to listen and analyse from legendary electroacoustic composers are really inspirational. After each lesson there is a home task and in the following lecture there is an analysis of the results and based on that Yannis gives lessons on what needs to be changed, improved, pay attention to etc, in order to develop compositional skills.
I highly recommend Yannis as a teacher, if you are into modern experimental electroacoustic composition and improvisation.

I'm a professional theorbo and guitar player and i give theorbo, guitar, music theory and solfege lessons (Brussels)
Giorgos
Giorgos has continually shown in every class I've taken with him to have a very good rapport with students and great teaching competence, showing the ability to explain topics, questions and mistakes in a way that the student understands and learns from. He's supportive of the level of knowledge, goals and the different musical tastes of students, allowing the diversification of the topics and repertoire studied in class, thus creating an excellent learning environment.
In short simply 10/10. Excellent professor! Definitely recommend him to those who want to learn or/and better their skills at the instrument.

Rafaelos
Rafaelos is a wonderful down to earth teacher. Every lesson has been a blast and he's amazing at helping me develop my musicality. I feel comfortable even when making mistakes due to his relaxing vibe and ability to teach in a way that takes into account my current shortcomings. Thanks for being so patient with me Rafaelos!
