Music is one of the cornerstones of a healthy and happy life and it would be my pleasure to help guide you through part of your musical journey. I teach all skill levels and ambitions, whether you want to play bass a hobby, set up a band with friends or want to prepare for a conservatory audition, I can help you. In my teaching I try to give you the best foundational skills to achieve your musical goals. This means a high level of customization is possible if you have an idea of what direction you want to head down, but I will of course guide you on the way as well. As a bassist my strong suits are Rock, Pop, RnB and Neo Soul but through the years I have recorded and played live shows in a host of different genres (Jazz, Fusion, Reggae, Ska, Hard rock etc) so my teaching is by all means not contained to a few genres, I believe having a good overview over different kinds of music is very important. I am originally from Rotterdam, the Netherlands and have been playing bass since I was 13 years old. I graduated in 2023 with a degree in Electric Bass from BIMM Berlin and have studied at Berklee College of Music in Boston (Summer 2018), Holland College in Canada (2019-2020) and am an alumni of the Popkurs at the HfmT Hamburg (2025). As a session bassist in Berlin I have recorded in many great studios with Grammy award winning and nominated producers and engineers (Sting, Billie Eilish). Apart from this I play for multiple artists and have played shows in venues such as Festsaal Kreuzberg, Columbiatheater, Lido, Badehaus, Maschinenhaus, Kantine Am Berghain, Privatclub and run a YouTube channel with over 500.000 views. Next to this I teach students both in person and online and occasionally work at a music venue, basically I do anything to always be in a musical environment! I can't wait to get started with helping you achieve your musical goals!

I am a concert guitarist with an Italian master's degree in “classical guitar” at the Conservatorio di Musica (Music Academy) in Benevento, Italy. I have studied guitar for over 10 years and attended the master classes of the world-famous guitarist Edoardo Catemario for 6 years as a student. I gave numerous concerts in my home country (Teatro la Fenice - Venice; Festival Rosso di Sera - Siena; Centro di Musica Antica Fondazione “Pietà de Turchini” - Naples, etc.) Since I have been teaching at music schools in Naples (Italy) for several years, I have a lot of teaching experience with both children and adults. Folk or classical acoustic guitar. The teaching philosophy is adapted to the level of each individual, according to the pace of work and motivation. For example, for beginners: Technique of the plectrum or fingers, coordination and correction of the right and left hand. Learning basic chords, simple themes, simple rhythms, reading tablatures (...). For intermediaries: development of rhythm, construction of chords, writing of tablatures, basic notions of harmony (...). Depending on your goals, you can learn, if you wish, to play 60 to 80% of current music from the first lessons, which often use the same chords and the same techniques. Hello! Being a singer and a singing teacher, many many times I have found myself in the situation of having to work on ear training, or solfège, or music theory... or all the above listed! Approaching music and having no clue of these elements can totally be intimidating and off-putting, but in 2023 I feel like it’s a pity that these subjects still are looked at with such a fear. I want to prove to you that building this basic knowledge can be easy, accessible, and not heavy at all! My program is not fixed: I’ll build it on your specific needs, whether they are preparing an exam, curiosity, or getting better at pitch matching... we will discuss it together. I have many books and materials, and I honestly prefer to draw blackboards by myself a lot of times. Unless you want to, I won’t ask you to buy any material, so the only cost that you will have to sustain is for the time of the class.
