Please note that all lessons are online so you can relax in the comfort of your own home. Many of my pupils become professional musicians. I have taught at Conservatoire (Royal Northern College of Music) and have been an examiner for the Royal College of Organists diplomas (I am an academy teacher for the RCO). I have had pupils as young as 15 gain diplomas. I am classically trained with the highest level music qualification (a Ph.D.) and have topped the jazz piano charts too (no. 1 in the UK, no. 33 globally) and so even improvisation can be a topic to study. I also teach singing in all styles classical, pop, and musical theatre with pupils taking exams right through to diploma. I teach lessons on Zoom that are enjoyable and thorough. I am also an expert in the aural (listening) aspect of examinations with some of my research being published by Routledge currently (I am a Kodaly influenced practitioner and able to teach using solfege to a high level).
