I hold an Advanced Diploma in Opera, which is the highest qualification level (Level 8) in the UK Qualifications Framework. I performed in many prestigious venues in the UK, including Royal Albert Hall, Glyndebourne Festival Opera, Barbican, and St.Martin-in-the-Fields. I worked with Nelly Miricioiu, Jane Glover, Vladimir Jurowski, Robin Ticciati, Stéphane Denève, and many other renowned coaches and conductors. I also have a BA in Art History from the University of Cambridge and an MA in Art History from the Courtauld Institute. I teach the principles of vocal technique that form the basis of all singing styles: finding an ideal posture and alignment of the body and the air column and eliminating unnecessary tension; optimizing breathing and support (singing with the whole body); beauty and homogeneity of the voice in all registers (homogeneity especially in lyrical singing); clear and precise articulation in all languages. Of course, these bases adapt differently depending on the styles and offer keys to freeing the voice, and not to restricting the singer! My teaching is holistic and I take into account the whole person with great sensitivity. The voice is at the center of the body and mind, and singing unifies the two. Singing & Recording Lessons with a Professional Singer. (Brussels)

I have wanted singing lessons for some time; I had them briefly in my youth and I sing and play guitar for a hobby. Juliett showed me some good tips already in the first lesson and left me some good warming up techniques that I shall practice every day before a our next lesson. Juliett is very friendly and before I knew it she had me singing high notes I did not know I was capable of reaching. The lesson was fun, I enjoyed every second and I’m looking forward to the next. She clearly has a beautiful voice herself and knows the correct techniques using classical methods to get the most out of a voice. We looked at what I wanted to sing, not what she wanted me to sing. Learning should be fun and I’m confident my singing voice will get better over time with these techniques that are used by professional singers worldwide. 100% this is a five star review; I would give a thousand stars, but the limit is five.
