I worked with Nelly Miricioiu, Jane Glover, Vladimir Jurowski, Robin Ticciati, Stéphane Denève, and many other renowned coaches and conductors. I am currently part of the Limburg Education Tour project 'Weltatem', which is a collaboration between Het Geluid Maastricht (Romy Roelofsen and Gable Roelofsen) and Kirsten Schötteldreier. Alongside my performing career, I also have been teaching singing. I am very passionate about teaching and I believe that music, whether it is listening to a concert, playing the guitar, or singing in the shower, is good for both our mental and physical well-being. It helps us to become more self-confident, find out more about how we can use our whole body as an instrument, to express and channel our feelings, and also to relax. I have wanted singing lessons for some time; I had them briefly in my youth and I sing and play guitar for a hobby. Juliett showed me some good tips already in the first lesson and left me some good warming up techniques that I shall practice every day before a our next lesson. Juliett is very friendly and before I knew it she had me singing high notes I did not know I was capable of reaching. The lesson was fun, I enjoyed every second and I’m looking forward to the next. She clearly has a beautiful voice herself and knows the correct techniques using classical methods to get the most out of a voice. We looked at what I wanted to sing, not what she wanted me to sing. Learning should be fun and I’m confident my singing voice will get better over time with these techniques that are used by professional singers worldwide. 100% this is a five star review; I would give a thousand stars, but the limit is five.
