Trusted teacher: Singing lessons: Vocal technique & interpretation. For who ? How to orient yourself in relation to your desire to sing? For all of you who want to sing, learn, improve, discover your voice and its possibilities. For fun, to improve your skills & improve your level. To prepare a particular service, a surprise, a contest, an audition or an examination? To have an impartial and professional opinion on your approach to singing and managing your voice. To overcome your worries with your voice: - Discomfort, aphonia, fear of speaking, lack of power, shortness of breath, hoarse or thin voice, hoarseness ... To improve the "life" of your professional instrument: Lawyer, Doctors, Speakers, School teacher, Therapist ... How? The singing lessons allow you to discover your voice and to go to the end of your possibilities. So, we discover a little, a lot ... Through various vocal exercises, you will learn how to manage your natural resources, to dominate your voice, to work it entirely, to dose the power, to manage the nuances .... To understand the various stages of learning, we can define 3 major steps that are 3 different but complementary aspects of vocal learning ... and as many small (!): 1 / PURE VOICE TECHNIQUE How to learn to tame your voice and the effects on the voice (annoyances, anxieties, stress, jitters, fear panic, anger, fear, lack of self-confidence etc ...), master nuances & power, manage the effects of stress & anxiety on the voice ... The part of pure vocal technique, consisting of various vocal excercises called vocalises and adapted to the level of the student but also to his vocal typology, essential to any future evolution and for any singer is the "vocal skeleton". 2 / APPLICATION OF THE VOICE TECHNIQUE IN THE DIRECTORY Here in this step, the direct application of the learning of the pure technique that we have done with vocalizations and other vocal exercises as specified above. We work for (the technical part and the learning of the pieces where we have to refix the points of reference clearly) to make a link between the two thus allowing a playful and concrete evolution in the song by the practice of the repertoire that we like ! 3 / INTERPRETATION & STYLISTIC & VOICE PLACEMENT OF THE DIRECTORY At this stage, the finishing is done, although the deep work is only beginning and it is here that several parameters are introduced to get there: The vocal technique, the musical setting up (by solfegic knowledge then placement with piano accompaniment etc ...), the postural management & gestures of the singer in order to stem the "parasites" and the precise research of style and how to stick to the best! An exciting part that crowns & rewards, even if it's still a disciplined and structured job, the efforts provided before ... I offer you INDIVIDUAL singing lessons totally personalized, adapted to your needs and your objectives, fun but serious, productive & progressive to ensure also a listening of the singer, his aspirations & ambitions that he can feed and improve the choices artistic, while setting a compulsory labor discipline to any desire for progress and success. Worked directory: LYRIC SINGING (Opera, Operetta, Comic Opera), French & International VARIETIES, JAZZ, GOSPEL, RN & B, MUSICAL COMEDIES, SACRED & PROFAN SONGS, French MELODIES / LIEDS .... I can also propose to the singers / his confirmed to pro, a particular & personalized preparation of their repertoire, setting up musical & vocal (with piano accompaniment), choice of the pieces, work of gesture, control of the posture and intensive preparation for: COMPETITIONS, EXAMS, CASTINGS, AUDITIONS, ROLES TO SET UP ... TO HAVE AN ANSWER AND CONCRETE WORK ON SOME OF THESE QUESTIONS OR THESE "STATES", AND MANY OTHER THINGS, DO NOT HESITATE ANY LONGER!

Over my 10 years of teaching experience both privately and through NYC music schools, I have developed a variety of effective and individualized teaching tools that I continually refine. My students range in age from 5-70 years and sing music in a variety of styles including classical, musical theater, pop, and more. I have helped hundreds of singers reach their personal goals which have ranged from matching pitch to winning competitions, getting the leading role in a show or putting together a solo recital to confidently performing at karaoke and achieving their personal best. Please message me if you cannot find a time that works and I will do my best to accommodate you. Skills include: Acting and Text Interpretation Performance and Audition prep Alexander Technique and body awareness Music Theory and Ear Training Movement & Dance (ballet, jazz, contemporary) Italian, French, German language and diction Russian diction Piano Rooted in the classical tradition my focus is on building a solid and healthy vocal technique and applying that to the genre of choice. This will also improve your day to day speaking voice. My experience in dance, Alexander Technique, and acting informs my teaching approach. I include body awareness, character interpretation, and making the music come alive as an integral part of the lessons. If applicable, lessons may also include techniques for audition, competition, and performance preparation as well as beginner piano, reading music, theory and ear training. I love to teach and enjoy helping others achieve their personal singing goals. Everyone has a unique voice and learning style and I tailor my teaching to each individual. I welcome students of all ages and levels and styles of singing and I look forward to helping you sing with ease and joy! I speak with with my students before our first lesson to understand their background, goals, and answer any questions before we begin. For the first lesson, I always ask you bring something you like to sing and then as we progress we decide what repertoire makes the most sense. I start by explaining how the voice works: our body as our instrument. I then introduce individualized technique exercises to fit the student's need. Our work will include breath, resonance, vocal fold closure, vowels, range, and much more. My ultimate goal is to give you tools to build confidence in your practice and reach your personal goals in a fun and supportive environment! About me: Singing and teaching are two of my greatest passions. Well-versed in many vocal genres, I have performed in operas, recitals, musicals, choirs, and competitions internationally including the United States, Europe, and the Middle East. I have a Master of Music in classical vocal performance from the Mannes School of Music and a Bachelor of Music from the University of Michigan. I have studied dance, piano, and Alexander Technique in addition to vocal pedagogy. Inspired by my own incredible teachers, I have always been fascinated with how the voice works and bring positivity, patience, and passion to my teaching.

I also offer general musical skills sessions for young children who are not quite old enough to learn one specific instrument yet. I attend regular Safeguarding training and I have an advanced DBS on the update service. I also have experience working with children who have special educational needs and EHCP’s. Learning music and an instrument as well as being part of a group or ensemble, is about much more than becoming a performer. The skills and techniques learnt, are incredibly versatile for use in other subjects as well as being valuable life skills. Below are some of the skills which are developed in Music: Co-ordination Motor skills Imagination Expression Commitment Discipline Organisation skills Self evaluation Confidence Team work Communication Support Setting targets and goals Sense of achievement I am also a Musical Director for choirs where the importance is on community, enjoyment, health and well being and making sure that people feel included and good about singing with a wide range of repertoire including classical, folk, jazz, gospel, pop and musical theatre. I also have experience of running school and college choirs, orchestras and ensembles. I choose repertoire of various genres for students to explore different sounds and styles, with some being quicker to learn but effective, to build a more instant satisfaction and confidence within the group, while other pieces are more technical, allowing students to challenge themselves. As well as being a solo Flautist, Singer, and Saxophonist, I am part of an acoustic Classical Flute and Guitar duo, a Folk duo, a Jazz ensemble and a Folk Rock band, performing at weddings, private functions, festivals and events.

Stefano
Not just a singing teacher, but by the way also the best vocal coach you can get hold of at this moment and in this area of the Netherlands (so take your chance...;-)). For about 3 years I had a serious problem with my vocal chords (incomplete closure) and a dislocated larynx. I started to be in contact with Stefano by chance asking him to show me some (singing) exercises additionally to my treatment at the ENT-department of Martini Ziekenhuis Groningen as well as an ongoing therapy at a professional trained speech therapist. To cut a long story short: Within a couple of lessons and dedicated exercises he succeeded in re-positioning my larynx and got rid of my incomplete vocal cords closure, meanwhile the medical specialists had decided that the only cure could possibly be an operation... As a ‘side-effect’ I am now able to sing and control my voice like I have never been able before and could never have imagined that this was possible to achieve by just some simple but individually chosen exercises and practice. Grazie!

Singing classes, vocal coaching, from beginners to professionals.
Anzor
I consider myself an intermediate level singer (have had four years of opera training) so listening to feedback was challenging from a new observer. It was only the first lesson so I need to do more to gauge our compatibility but he definitely seems knowledgeable about voices and ways to improve just based off of a few sounds, which I found interesting and impressive. I articulated my goals and he believes he can help me get there. He is direct and to the point - also a quality I appreciate. We'll see. But so far so good ;)

Find your singing voice. A safe and natural technique to sing classical, opera and music theatre. (Cheste)
Lynette
I have taken my first lesson with Lynette and it was a great experience. I have been singing for some time at a choir, but have no formal training and want to learn the fundamental technique, and also work on some of the pieces we sing at the choir. The lesson was very practical, dynamic and she pays great attention to detail. After the class I could feel the improvement on the areas we have covered and felt much more confident on my skills. Highly recommended!
