I have a Master of fine arts (Department of Vocal and Acting Studies) from Lodz Musical Accademy in Poland and I've performed professionally as an opera singer in Baltic Opera. In 2020 I got a special scholarship from prestigious Accademia D'Arte Lirica in Italy. Apart from opera experience, I was a leader of the alternative rock band for many years. Currently I continue my career in Italy singing in many opera theaters and teaching. As a vocal coach I specialize in multi-genre styles such as classical, musical, pop, rock and jazz. I put emphasis on the breathing techniques, enhancing body awareness, correct emission, musicality, interpretation, pure intonation and diction. I create original lesson plans that contour to my students individual needs. I provide a compassionate and creative learning environment in addition to a solid foundation in classical technique and musical fundamentals. My methods consist of warm-ups that help understand breath support and vocal placement to improve vocal awareness and stretch range. Psychology is a very important factor in my teaching method, because I believe that singing is also a great therapy. I teach children, teenagers, adults and senior (beginners to more advanced). My lessons are aimed at developing body, muscular and vocal awareness that helps to perceive and consider our body as a musical instrument. My teaching method is the result of the synthesis of my experience as a singer and the many and diverse study paths followed. The lesson is structured in two parts: the first half devoted to vocal technique, the second half to the musical repertoire and learning the musical language (jazz or pop or other genre). The vocal technique that I propose is a basic technique for all types of modern singing: from postural education to the care of breathing, from the use of abdominal muscles, to the emission of air to the resonance cavities. We will work on the sound, on the extension of the voice, on the high and low notes, on the passage of register, on the control, on the power and agility. From a repertoire perspective, the course will be tailored to the student's needs or interests, with an eye to the proper attitude to have while singing and on stage. I can prepare the student for the conservatory entrance exam and any form of audition. If the student wishes, I can give him/her notions of harmony and music reading.

I am a Manchester based actress and I have been working professionally in the Musical Theatre industry for 10 years after graduating from Laine Theatre Arts in 2015. I have been lucky enough to travel the world as a Lead Vocalist and perform in several plays, pantomimes, musicals and commercials. I am super passionate about teaching others and getting the absolute best out of them. I truly believe encouragement and confidence is the key to success! I have taught Musical Theatre, Singing and Dance for over 15 years and specialise in acting through song. I love bringing my acting training in to songs and really thinking about the words we are singing and what we are trying to achieve through this, what is the purpose of the song etc - this is so important and can be transformational! I can also help with technique, warm ups and cool downs, vocal health and audition prep in either Pop or Musical Theatre. Also because I am still currently working in the industry I have first hand knowledge in what is happening at the moment and how things work. Not just a singing teacher, but by the way also the best vocal coach you can get hold of at this moment and in this area of the Netherlands (so take your chance...;-)). For about 3 years I had a serious problem with my vocal chords (incomplete closure) and a dislocated larynx. I started to be in contact with Stefano by chance asking him to show me some (singing) exercises additionally to my treatment at the ENT-department of Martini Ziekenhuis Groningen as well as an ongoing therapy at a professional trained speech therapist. To cut a long story short: Within a couple of lessons and dedicated exercises he succeeded in re-positioning my larynx and got rid of my incomplete vocal cords closure, meanwhile the medical specialists had decided that the only cure could possibly be an operation... As a ‘side-effect’ I am now able to sing and control my voice like I have never been able before and could never have imagined that this was possible to achieve by just some simple but individually chosen exercises and practice. Having Zuzanna as a teacher has been one of the most enriching learning experiences for me. Her presence is warm and supportive, and as someone who once feared singing lessons, I have to say I felt safe from the very beginning. She is incredibly patient and encouraging. Her attention to detail and deep insight into the craft make me feel supported throughout the learning process. She has an exceptional ability to articulate different modalities for approaching technical difficulties and employs ingenious visualizations to help understand the proper use of the body's mechanics. As someone who loves singing it was very helpful in the very first lesson to begin to understand the muscles I need to use and the "spaces" I need to create to stabilise and improve my sound. I also felt she responded well to each question I raised, or issue she heard in the way I did the excercises. I look forward to future lessons.
