I start by (if available) using your old tests to determine together with you (and possibly your parents) what specific difficulties you have. This makes my method much more personalized than standard classroom teaching. At the same time, I ensure that the underlying theory is thoroughly understood by linking it to self-invented exercises and practical examples from the student's personal environment, which makes learning easier and more lasting. ABOUT NICK: I am a 22-year-old master's student in Commercial Engineering at KU Leuven. I started tutoring my sister, nephews, nieces and friends and I get a lot of satisfaction from improving and helping others when they come to me for help. Because I have been tutoring consistently for 4 years, I have the right resources to present learning material in an understandable way and to strengthen the motivation, concentration and independent study of my students. In addition, I have a lot of experience with children and didactic teaching techniques from my tennis initiator diploma.
