Trusted teacher: I have been working in the Adult Learning and Career Development sectors for more than 12 years, supporting people to grow and develop both personally and professionally. I have also worked in counselling settings with young people, adults and couples, as well as managing a mentoring project and undertaking academic proof-reading, and all these experiences inform my methods now. I blend a person-centred focus with a practical and structured approach to good effect. I believe that professional development goes hand-in-hand with increased understanding of self and others, also known as emotional intelligence. Understanding and valuing your own strengths and vulnerabilities helps you communicate more strongly and create more honest, productive relationships, both at home and at work, and can impact on your ability to make a convincing argument in written form as well. I am happy to meet you at your home, at my home or at another location convenient to us both, or we can work via webcam. I normally prepare tasks or concepts to consider between meetings, and always tailor the sessions to what you most need or want to get out of them. If you want a simple listening ear, that is fine - if you want someone to create a schedule to help you stick to goals, I can do that. We can decide between us what might best help you get where you want to in your life or career. The availability in the calendar below is just a guide, I can work around your schedule, so please feel free to ask about specific days or times.

Hi, I'm Sophie, I'm currently offering mentoring help to students. I studied Zoology at Swansea University and went on to work in an animal movement lab, teaching tagging technologies to Masters and PhD students. My next role was based in Singapore where I was a field biology teacher taking students aged 8 - 18 around different ecosystems teaching them environmental surveying techniques and ways to save our planet. When I returned to the UK I worked in an after school and holiday children's club encouraging the involvement of students in a number of activities. I then worked for a wildlife charity in Communications, Engagement and Training, boosting their online presence and reaching their ideology out to different demographics. My most recent role was as an Environmentalist and Duke of Edinburgh lead at a private school in Buckinghamshire. I am currently working towards a Masters in Sustainable Business at the University of York. All of this experience has allowed me to communicate well with students and show them how to get the best out of life. Sometimes they don't believe in their own ability, or don't currently possess the communication skills to achieve their potential. I am offering support to students to help them prepare for general academic life and study. Together we would look at workload, homework, revision skills, school or university applications and how to approach people in their day to day academic life. Life in school can sometimes be hard on a student, this is what we'd work together on to make sure they have the best experience possible. I am DBS checked, safeguarding and child protection aware, first aid trained and have voluntarily mentored and tutored students before. I have just come out of a role at a school therefore have a comprehensive understanding of teaching and pastoral care. If you have any questions please don't hesitate to reach out to me.

I learned about cosmic energy and the Law of Attraction around 10 years ago, and have heard and seen the impact that loving what you have, and the power of gratitude can do for your own self worth. In this session I can go over my learnings, and introduce some of the Law of Attraction Practitioner work that is of interest to many students who want to learn more about the LOA! In 2012 i had no money and was sent to work in Ireland for a few days with my work, knowing I had cars booked, hotels booked, meals booked in the hotel, I didnt need cash - but I was nervous about the trip, and when I arrived in Cork, I drove to the site I was meeting other renewable energy professionals. I was first at the conference centre, and noticed there was a small cafe/bar adjacent - so I went over to talk to the cafe worker and was asked if I would like anything- so I said 'Yes, please, a latte would be lovely' and I strolled off while the coffee was made for me. It was only then that I realised ' I have no money'... how could I pay for the coffee... I let my mind drift to a book I had been reading on the plane journey that morning; how affirmations can be as simple as manifesting the smallest thing to come to be; ' I am so happy and grateful that I have been provided with this free coffee'... 'Im so sorry' I said to the cafe worker; ' I haven't any pounds or euros! Just cancel that order.' 'Thats fine' she replied, 'as we have been asked to provide teas and coffees for everyone as part of the conference. Believe to receive! This was my introduction, and that whole journey to Ireland opened my eyes and mind, to the power of LOA. I look forward to sharing with you some background, some stories and some key learnings to practice LOA - from health to relationships, hobbies and work to being financially rewarded - all while introducing you to 'Nothing Soup' the book I wrote to help me to understand how cosmic energy works in our lives.

Trusted teacher: Hi my name is Rich. I offer one 2 one acting sessions in Peckham Rye to help all levels and abilities improve confidence in their performance. I am a British actor and performer with over 20 years of experience working in TV, Film and Theatre. My TV credits include over 200 episodes of playing Dr Caleb Knight on BBC's hit series Casualty 2014-2020. 24 episodes of hit teen soap Hollyoaks playing Father Francis. For film i had lead roles in the box office smash British film STREETDANCE 3D and the Film Festival hit EVE. In 30min or 1 hour sessions we will work through the text(if there is a scene to prep or i can provide interesting material) and discuss ways of applying the best techniques to unlock your performances full potential. Whether it be for a big audition or just a bit of fun i will offer a calm and productive environment for you to find creativity and flourish. I have trained extensively in the Meisner technique as well as a more Method approach at Guildhall Music & Drama School. There really isn't a set technique i teach from, rather a balance of what works for the individual student as we are human and all work in completely different ways. I am here to help you use your instrument and unlock your true instincts to help you shine in your own extraordinary way. Please feel free to contact me to discuss how I can be of service to you and then let's go from there. I can also read in and film your self tape audition with you using my own tried and tested set up. Filming can either be done within the 30min/hour coaching session or as a separate filming session in its own right. You'll never feel rushed while striving to film your perfect take as i am well aware that stress can hamper any performance. The time is yours and if we go over slightly so be it. I can also offer online classes, please contact me for details.
