Trusted teacher: Hello. My name is Emi. I am from Fukuoka, south of Japan, and currently live in Tokyo, and work at the office. I have a university degree in economics and have worked for over 20 years in several companies, building good relationships with colleagues and clients. In my mid-30s, I joined an art college and completed a master's degree in Art Studies. I am currently enrolled in a graduate program, writing my doctoral thesis on Spanish paintings. I also work as a university tutor helping students with their studies. Based on my experience, I can offer lessons for everyday life, business or office, academic contexts like university classes, and so on. The basic style of my lessons is mainly conversational, sharing and discussing experiences and knowledge on a variety of topics such as everyday events, work and study, cultural and scientific events, news articles, etc. The major goal is for you to master and be able to use expressions appropriate to the context and to be able to understand correctly what others say (what is written), and to convey your ideas and thoughts more effectively. To achieve this, I also focus on grammatical structures and patterns, if necessary. Learning about sentence structure will also help you to understand what the other person says (or writes) correctly. And I can also support those who want to enjoy essays or novels written in Japanese. Reading texts written by Japanese also gives you an insight into our culture and way of thinking and allows you to learn more vocabulary and expressions and how to use them effectively. If there’s a specific text you’d like to read, let me know. Lastly, lessons are conducted in Japanese, but I can also understand English, although not fluently, so you can use English if you have difficulty expressing yourself in Japanese. (I am also learning Spanish and can understand simple sentences). So, I hope you can relax and enjoy the lessons. If you are interested in my lessons, please feel free to contact me. I would be happy to help you improve your Japanese language skills and enjoy Japan and its unique culture! Thank you for reading to the end.

Trusted teacher: I was born in Istanbul in 1983. I started teaching Turkish while studying the Turkish Language and Literature in my undergraduate programme. I worked in a language school and at universities, and I suppose I gained success. 😊 My achievements are directly proportional to my students’ success. I have been teaching Turkish professionally for 14 years. I also taught Turkish for 4 years when I was a university student. I learned Ottoman Turkish at the university, that is why I am familiar Persian and Arabic vocabulary. I also studied Persian, German and Italian grammar. I completed my master's degree in Ottoman history and spent a semester as an Erasmus student at the Turkish Studies Department of Leiden University. A basic but correct conversation is really important for self-confidence in any language. If a learner can master basic sentence forms, the rest will come much easier. On the other hand, making mistakes is also very important. Especially, a learner can not speak without making a mistake the first and second time. My students are always varied and have diverse learning skills. My professionalism also allows me to tailor language education according to individual interests, needs, and capacities. In the classroom, I hold firm three main principles: first, providing a comfortable environment, second, creating an encouraging atmosphere, and third, establishing a collaborative instruction model. I consider that I developed an aptitude for making learning Turkish much easier, more enjoyable, and more practical for my students. I use a book prepared by a university in Turkey. I share the pdf version of the book for my lessons. I also adapt the materials according to the learner’s needs and support the book with my authentic materials. Even though I use a communicative approach, all my lessons are guided by a solid knowledge of grammar. If you want to speak Turkish well, please get in touch with me. It is fun, and we will smile during the lesson!

Talk and Understand Turkish easily and well with Başak who is an Experienced and Patient Teacher for Adults and Kids-Online/In-Person Lesson (Maltepe)
Başak
I am following a class with Başak to learn turkish. The lessons are held in english. This course covers pronunciation, grammar and free speaking which are also adapted to daily life situations as well as speaking about yourself. I have experienced a very well organized and structured teacher on a professional basis. The teacher gives clear instructions, pays attention to the pronunciation and corrects you when needed, which is crucial for the turkish pronunciation. The course fees contain the tuition as booked and course material as the class is accompanied by a book (workbook and exercise book) and audio files. The books are sent to you in advance, makes it very convenient to take a print out or as a digital version on your tablet/PC/phone. Between the lessons homework will be assigned and checked by her via mail and discussed in the next lesson. So far, I am very happy with the lessons and I am also confident that I will improve my turkish steadily in the future with her. Thanks

Private violin lessons, Music Theory, Technical and Musical Skills (Paris)
Ester
My private violin lesson with Ester was absolutely perfect. I had a privilege to hear Ester play her violin and she is so good- it is crazy to think I was able to learn from her. She is also such a good teacher. Full of knowlege and patience- which is, in my opinion, a rare combination. I had no prior musical education and this was my first real music lesson. Ester managed to teach me basic note reading, correct violin holding and even playing my first tunes. Her explainations are very clear and easy to understand. And her approach is very friendly. She is also a very nice person and easy to talk to. I wish we lived in the same city so I could keep studying playing violin with Ester- that's how good she is. Lidia

Dutch lessons at any level.
Irma
Irma is a great teacher. Everything is well organized in each session. We have fun during the class, so learning dutch with her is not boring. She pays extra attention to the pronunciation and corrects me when I'm wrong. This is very helpful to learn the pronunciation correctly from the beginning since changing it later needs much more effort. Irma is also very flexible with timing and content of the course. I am completely happy with my private classes.
