Singing Lessons: ABOUT Voice / Singing Lessons are spaces for one to come into a deeper, more informed and confident relationship with singing and voice use, offering an enriching and transformative space to explore and develop as a singer. What we might explore: -Coming into an awareness of fundamental vocal anatomy : Developing awareness of the voice, its structures and its functionality as well as its relationship to the body and its systems. -Identifying one’s own ‘Attractor State’: Coming to understand as an individual the habitual tendencies of one's own voice use and the potentials and limitations of those malleable tendencies. -Becoming equipped with practical and effective tools to promote ease, resonance and efficiency while singing: Harnessing the tools of Alexander Technique and neuroscientific application to becoming empowered in practices that release tension and allow for more easeful and skillful singing. -Working Stylistically With Repertoire: in styles inc. folk, jazz, pop, soul/r&b, light opera/legit, music theater or text. This can also include becoming adept in harmonizing and exploring different theories of music. -Becoming equipped with tools for anxiety/stage fright . An offering of tools that allow the hormonal, nervous and musculo-skeletal systems to regulate during times of high stress or anxiety with using voice in a public setting. Hello,I'm Chaska! I'm an actor, playwright and poet from London. I am a TEFL certified tutor who has vast experience in teaching English, public speaking and improvisation. I teach students from all ages and from all over the world in English, public speaking and improvisation. Here is a breakdown of my classes: English: English language and English Literature GCSE help. TEFL/ESL English help for students learning the English language. PublIc speaking: Helping students to express themselves with what they already have in themselves. Students will learn techniques on how to have stage prescense. Students will go into text analysis with a wide variety of speech delivery practise to ensure that their message is conveyed in the best way possible. Students will have the opportunity to write their own speech on any subject and perform it. Improvisation: Students will be able to learn the basics of improvisation through games and acting activities. Students will learn how to be calm and adaptable in any situation that goes outside of a rehearsal room. My classes come with a creative edge to ensure that students feel engaged, relaxed and are able to express themselves in ways that they did not comprehend in all of my classes. I'm an adaptable, patient and enthusiastic teacher who prioritises the goals and pace of every student so every student can feel at ease.
