Prepare in an efficient, intensive way for the ITNA (Interuniversity Language Test Dutch), based on tailor-made exercises. We practice together on language in use, grammar and vocabulary, gap texts, structuring exercises, dictation, presentations and argumentation. Each class is tailored to the individual's requirements and/or needs. Want to improve career opportunities; learn or improve business Dutch, which will be the focus of each class. For those already are familiar with Dutch; expanding existing knowledge together with a deeper cultural understanding and insight. All students will be provided lesson schedules in advance for their review (time permitting). I use several methods which are specially conceived to teach Dutch to people who have a different mother tongue. I really like to use methods out of the ordinary like role games or methods with which you learn while playing. All these adapted to the student's situation of course. As I learned myself a couple of other languages, it is easy for me to detect difficulties a student can encounter and adapt the way of learning. I can teach in English, French, German and Russian.

Dutch is not an easy language. Certainly not if it is not the first language you learn. To make yourself understood, it is often easiest to fall back on English, but this stagnates your process of mastering the Dutch language. During this coaching session we lay a foundation. We map out your request for help and together we draw up a plan of action. The most important thing is that you feel at ease, that you enjoy the learning process and that you make progress with your language skills. If you purchase a lesson package, you will also receive homework assignments which we will discuss in the following lesson. Because it is tailor-made, the starting age for this class is 4 years and it is suitable for people up to and including retirement age. I will help students for beginners-lower-intermediate level. After every lesson I will give you homework for the next lesson. Teaching children is almost "an art" Not everyone is able to place him or herself in the mind of a child and that is just so important! I teach playfully and at the same time they learn without really realizing they are in a lesson! I do this with diverse lesson material such as pictures, video's, and we are also practicing songs together.
