I motivate, encourage and guide people in learning and finding solutions to achieve their own goals in an efficient and focused way. Due to my broad experience and high general level of knowledge, in addition to pedagogical / didactic support, I can also provide extra lessons in all alpha subjects of secondary education and guidance of students in the preparation of exams and writing theses.

As a creative copy professional and philosopher, I see every lesson as an experiment. Dutch might feel a little violent to a delicate mouth in the beginning. But once you get passed that, a sea of inspiring and quirky new ways to express yourself will open up. To help you move beyond that hump, I will adjust my lessons to your personal passions and interests, including your specific reasons to speak and/or write in this language right now. Two kids that are roughly the same level can share one webcam lesson of one-hour minimum. Keep in mind that we will stay online for at least 15 minutes extra, as young ones will need at least two 5 minute breaks.

Learn by practicing grammar. This applies to children and adults. It is mainly about self-reliance. Learning to take tests better at school is possible at different levels. Reading promotion is very useful for a good result.

As a former primary school teacher and experienced Dutch teacher for adults and children, I enjoy helping others achieve their language goals. In our class we will be relaxed, I will help you with the Dutch conversation, the grammar, reading (like an article or a topic what I will give you). I will help students for beginners-lower-intermediate level. After every lesson I will give you homework for the next lesson. I use several methods which are specially conceived to teach Dutch to people who have a different mother tongue. I really like to use methods out of the ordinary like role games or methods with which you learn while playing. All these adapted to the student's situation of course. As I learned myself a couple of other languages, it is easy for me to detect difficulties a student can encounter and adapt the way of learning. I can teach in English, French, German and Russian.
