After I finished the teacher training (5 years) at the teacher training college in Bruneck (Italy) in 2002, I completed a 3-year music percussion study in Munich. So I started my teaching career in 2002 as a percussion teacher at the music school in Bruneck. I worked there for 2 years. In the following 15 years, I went through all primary, middle and music schools in the province of South Tyrol in Italy. I taught biology, languages, drums, mathematics, languages, music, art and technology, sports and art. After teaching for 15 years in my home country, I was looking for something new and ended up at IGS in Vietnam. I spent the last 3 years at the International German School in HCMC. Then I decided to change direction and tried to get a foothold in the business. I started my own trading company in Vietnam. As I realised that this is not really my field, I decided to go back to teaching. I just love working with children and young people and I get so much more back than in the crazy business world. I am able to deliver learning experiences while allowing students to dictate specific lessons and guide them with curiosity. Learning is easy, but unlearning things that have become bad habits is extremely difficult. This makes it all the more important to learn the right reflexes as early as possible.
