I'm an Italian professional violinist graduated in the Hochschule der Künste in Zürich. I offer lessons for anyone who want to learn or improve their skills in playing the violin or viola. It is open to individuals of all age categories, from kids to adults. The lessons focus on allowing students to have fun while making music and expressing themselves through their instrument. I adapts the pace, materials, and choice of songs to each student's requests and needs. The classes can also serve as personal work support, where students can bring in their own scores from their main class or chamber orchestra. I have over 8 years of experience, I am able to teach beginner to advanced level students, and can communicate in Italian, English and German.

Certified violin teacher offers individual teaching methods, help with the preparation of exams and / or performances. My goal is to help the student progress without overloading them. I give assignments after each lesson and prepare regular progress reports.

I have developed my own teaching approach, based on years of practice with my Master teachers and my own research. I focus on supporting and developing student’s individuality. I am open to meet specific expectations and needs. I play the violin with my students to demonstrate and to inspire them. I also willingly perform together with pupils as well as accompany them during family performances. This makes playing even more enjoyable! I offer group and chamber music lessons. Playing together supports motivation to practice and improve skills. I teach to improvise. I treat the instrument as a voice to be used freely. I aim to strike a balance as much as possible between teaching technical skills and musicality, as of course there cannot be one without the other when learning an instrument. Lessons are a mixture of teaching and demonstrating correct posture, finger patterns or body movements, and teaching and engaging a learner with rhythm, pitch and melody, and then combining them together. I am a firm believer in tackling one aspect at a time in lessons and gradually combining it with another aspect of playing. I often include activities such as playing a note and asking the student to match my pitch or sound quality, or including musical games that can develop musical memory and rhythm. The most important aspect of learning any instrument is of course the music! Aiming to help a student find music (or if they have ideas they are welcome to bring them along!) that they love and find absorbing - this can be any genre, as long as it has a tune! I have a variety of books of different levels that I can use to help students find styles that are fun and enjoyable for them. There are technical things that need to be worked on in playing any instrument - but of fundamental importance is that the student has a feel for the music they play and a musical idea of what the end goal of any piece is.

My goal is to make people of all ages and levels learn not only playing an instrument but how can music help them in their everyday life. I am an Albanian violinist, with a Bachelor degree in Classical Music (Violin) and Musicologie in Sorbonne University. Over the years, my experiences with different youth and professional orchestras all around Europe have made me understand that music is important not only for professional musicians but also for everyone. I can teach in English or French and of course in my mother tongue Albanian.

I am a professional violinist. I graduated with distinction at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels (Master) and hold a Bachelor Diploma from Codarts (Rotterdam). I also pursued a masters degree in Music Education at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels. I teach students of all ages and levels. I have thirteen years of teaching experience in the Netherlands and in Belgium ( privately and at music schools/muziekacademies). In my lessons I help the students to find a good contact with the instrument and cultivate a positive relationship with music by integrating the development of aural skills, sense of rhythm and an optimal body use, enabling them to connect with their musical imagination. The lessons are adapted to each student's needs and wishes.
