Piano Lessons for Students of all levels (English, Greek)

Hello! My name is Orestis, I come from Cyprus and I am 27 years old. I am passionate about teaching, and one of the greatest joys of my professional career is watching my students flourish. I have been playing the piano for 20 years now and have over 7 years in teaching the piano. My goal is to make the piano lessons fun and enjoyable while also incorporating all the necessary elements, such as theory, music history and sight-reading, to create a well rounded musical education. I am experienced with exam preparations (ABRSM) and music school admissions exams, but I prefer to create my own curriculum to fit each student’s specific needs and aspirations.
I studied at the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire, UK (BA) and at the Liszt Academy of Music, HU (MA). I have performed extensively as a solo and chamber musician and I had the joy to collaborate with various orchestras. My greatest joy in music is collaborating and creating music together with other musicians, and this is why I am now pursuing the Specialized Piano Chamber Music Master’s at ZHdK.

Graduated with highest marks cum laude for the Bachelor degree in flute at the Conservatory of Florence (Italy) and with the same points at the Conservatory of Milano for the piccolo Master, I am now attending a Master degree in flute performance at the Zurich University of the Arts. Music and especially flute and piccolo are my real passion. My lessons will be always different, based on the student. I'd love to have the opportunity to spread my passion: music should be first of all fun and a real joy!

Sabrina
Piano lessons of classical music and more, available for all ages
My piano lessons are focused on the aim and purpose you have with piano studying. For example, if you are an adult who wants to do it as a hobby, the approach would be relaxed, based on learning the pieces you like the most (with some suggestions by me) and on improving the technique you need for it. If you are a child, the approach will be fun, motivating an interest in music. If you're someone looking forward to an application to some public or professional music school, I will help you build the program in a very professional way. I specialize in classical music, holding a degree and Master's in piano, and I'm looking forward to pursuing my second Master's in pedagogy; although I've also taken classes about improvisation and modern piano music if you're more into that.
