About Me
I have been involved in teaching photography to children and adults for many years passing on my knowledge is an enriching experience. I also love just meeting new people and talking techniques and photographic styles, I am always ready to learn in return of new developments in the trade.I really value being able to pass on the knowledge that I have gained and thoroughly enjoy the challenges of teaching and the pleasure and joy that someone has when they have understood that knowledge and are able to then put that into practice. I like to be able to tear down the barriers that cause us to feel intimidated and take away those fears and insecurities that can make learning difficult.

I also teach photography workshops to all levels and am currently teaching on a individual basis , one to one.

You will learn how to operate your camera, make correct exposures and understand the basics like aperture, shutter speed and ISO. The aim is to give you a better understanding of how the camera works and help you gain an understanding and confidence to go out and shoot great pictures. Designed to be hands-on, we will be using our cameras from the word go and I will help to break down the barriers to learning without too much technical jargon!

Fine Art/Art & Design/Photography (A Level/GCSE and beyond)To succeed in Fine Art, we need to open our ways of thinking. Oftentimes, we can feel stuck, lost or uninspired. In this class, I will teach you how to move forward in these moments; how to produce a healthy momentum in yourself to find excitement in your projects and push through them to the finishing point.
Fine Art is unlike any subject in that it really comes from the individual. There is no "right way", but if there is no discernible path, where do we go? I can show you how to tap into your inner artist and create and move through projects with a self-direction that will build your confidence, ignite passion and open unlimited ways to express yourself regardless of technical ability.
Is there a project you are currently working on that you are stuck with? Are you feeling uninspired in your art journey and want some new life injected into it? Is your confidence in your abilities low? Do you feel you are wasting your time with art but you really love it when you are doing it? Are you studying and repeatedly getting similar feedback/marks but are unsure how to take it to the next level? I can help you.

Photography on demand for beginners and enthusiastsIf you are at the beginning of your exploration of photography as one of your hobbies or a possible profession, you surely have many questions like these:
How does my camera work? Is it worth learning photography? What type of equipment should I buy?
My proposal is not a course in the strict sense of the word, but rather personalized mini workshops to respond to your particular concerns.
Depending on the level you are at, we can explore the following topics:
-Theory without mysteries
-Re-knowing your camera
-Finding inspiration (portrait, landscape, macro photography, etc.)
-Fundamentals in lighting
-Lightroom Basics
-Photoshop Basics
Before each session, you choose the topic you want to work on. In each session we will do a mix of theory and practice and you will have tasks to develop on your own and review in the next session.
The final objective is that you have elements of judgment and objective criteria to decide what your path in photography is and how far you want to go.
