Hi! I'm Anaëlle and I just finished my undergraduate degree in literature and foreign languages and cultures, and therefore I'm looking forward to teach French to beginners. I'm soon coming to South Korea from September to June at least and I wish to start teaching and helping people with learning French. The best way to learn a new language is to speak with someone who can speak this very language fluently, even better when a person is native. I'll be more than happy to be this person! As a language tutor in French, my main responsibility would be to help students improve their proficiency in the language. I would design lesson plans that cater to the specific needs and goals of each individual student, whether it be focusing on grammar, vocabulary, reading, writing, or conversation skills.

Freshly graduated, I obtained my engineering degree at 22, with a specialization in computer science, health engineering, artificial intelligence and big data. After a baccalaureate S with honors and having been highly ranked in the post-baccalaureate competitions, I joined a renowned engineering school in Paris. Despite my professional career in South Korea on large projects, I maintain a passion for teaching. It is this motivation that leads me to post this ad, in the hope of passing on my knowledge and supporting others in their success! I enjoy making students understand the exercises. My methodology is based on a lot of exercises and mutual assistance between the teacher and the student. Contrary to popular belief, learning Latin is not like learning the phone book by heart. I offer you Latin lessons that are unlike any other. There are two types of courses. Here is an analogy to illustrate their respective approaches: If you take the train back and forth every day and don't have time to wait long at the platform, imagine that you only have two options: 1) Learn the schedules by heart. 2) Note that the train arrives every ten minutes and that a train arrives for example at 7:00 a.m. In school pedagogy, in study notebooks and in ordinary courses, it is the first approach which is adopted - in the courses that I offer you, it is the second because it is more economical and faster. My offer is aimed at both students and adults who want to learn the Latin language or deepen their knowledge without time-consuming detours through the insanities of school methods which do not produce results. Learning is easy but unlearning what has become a bad habit is extremely difficult. All the more important it is to learn the right reflexes as early as possible. With my tailor-made teaching you will accelerate your learning in a positive state of mind. I offer individual or group Latin lessons (2 to 5 people). The methods are based on cognitive sciences and in particular historical linguistics. What will not be the subject of the course: learn lists of verbs; learn lists of nouns with their gender; learn words with their translations; memory card game; doing school exercises; follow the program in a notebook; impose French grammar on the Latin language. What matters to me in particular: motivate my student and give him a learning rhythm; encourage creativity; make friends with language; letters and their sounds strengthen your memory by working on the phonological loop; teach construction plans instead of having people learn sentences by heart; explain how the language works to make my student independent as quickly as possible; breaking preconceived ideas such as the gammatical gender would have a link with the biological gender, the accusative would be a direct complement and the dative an indirect complement, the verbs would be irregular, the declension would be random and therefore to be learned with each verb... ; place practice at the center and articulate grammar around practice.
