Tuition in math - physics - chemistry

I am currently a full-time teaching assistant in chemistry at UCLouvain for science, bioengineering and management engineering students for 6 years. I also hold the aggregation of upper secondary education. I teach individuals in chemistry by adapting as best as possible to your level by starting as much as possible from the basics which often pose the most problems. I take pleasure in trying to make this subject more understandable, which, it must be admitted, is rather unique and complex. I also try to make chemistry concepts more perceptible using concrete examples of their usefulness. I usually work in two-hour lessons with a break in the middle and provide additional exercises to do at home to optimize learning. I teach classes in English or French. I have to start by admitting something to you: in high school, I had very bad grades in math. I spent a long time telling myself that a scientific career was not for me. When I decided to try engineering anyway, I had to relearn everything from scratch, by myself. At the beginning I would have been quite incapable of passing a second humanity level exam. Months of hard, self-taught work pushed me to develop a working method focused on deep understanding of a subject rather than just withholding information. Through this private lesson project I dream of being the person I would have needed a few years ago, a person who in addition to allowing the student to succeed, transmits the motivation to learn. "If you give a man a fish, you feed him once. If you teach him to fish, he will eat all his life."

Having qualified as a management engineer since 2020, I have always had the opportunity to share my taste for mathematics with younger students who are reluctant to think that mathematics is not as terrible as it seems. Thanks to my previous experiences as a private teacher in mathematics, I will seek, on a case by case basis, the best educational way to demystify this subject in order to transform it into a fun and beneficial branch for the student's future.

The subjects of math, physics and/or chemistry may be very abstract to you, especially when you see this in class. This is normal, but it is imperative to find a solution and bring much more clarity to your abstract view of these courses. And that is my duty. Mathematics, physics and chemistry are subjects requiring rigor and concentration. It is sometimes difficult to follow in class, and these subjects sometimes attract too much interest from students. I offer to help you fill in the gaps, understand the material and prepare for your exams and tests, from primary level to university bachelor's degree. I am a Master student in civil engineering with a degree in applied mathematics, I offer my services throughout Belgium and for all students who have difficulties or who want to break records in school. I have an experience of more than 3 years and a fairly variable methodology depending on the student. In my methodology I always want first to help the student to catch up with his classmates and teachers and then push him to go much further in his thoughts while having fun and without the slightest pressure.
