I am a Spanish pianist and composer (MMus graduate from Codarts Rotterdam in both directions) with many years of teaching experience, and also very active in performing in various contexts. I give private piano lessons for all levels and styles (classical, jazz, Latin, new age, pop...), as well as music theory, composition and improvisation lessons. Logic Pro is a powerful but complex software tool that can be used to create everything from very basic recordings and compositions, to huge professional productions. You'll learn all the skills you need to set up and use Logic Pro; how to record and edit audio, use software instruments and plug-in effects, and how to mix and process your sounds. Lessons can either be conducted online, or at my studio, if you're local to Plymouth (it's not in a restaurant, I don't know why it says that!) I've been using Logic Pro for almost 25 years and have taught it at University level.

The guitar has been present in jazz since its beginnings as a supporting instrument, but over time it has taken on a more prominent role. Charlie Christian, Wes Montgomery, John Scofield, and others have been the spokespersons for this style through this instrument. In this course, you'll first learn to listen carefully to how the jazz language develops on the guitar, and then build a repertoire and vocabulary through tools you can use every day as a general musician.
