I started taking violin lessons at the age of 7. After years of training, I am currently continuing my violin studies at Utrecht Conservatory. I have also attended music theory classes for 6 years because it is very useful to have some knowledge of it when playing any instrument. If you would like, I would be more than happy to share some knowledge of music theory along with the violin lessons. Lessons are private and not in groups.

There are two grand pianos at the location in Den Haag. There will be enough distance between the student and the teacher. For children, it is important to develop basic musical skills through Singing, Rythmique, and Ear training besides piano playing. I use one technical exercise book, the main textbook, and a theory book. Through these 3 books, students learn different aspects of music and they naturally get ready for exams and grades. After acquiring basic skills, students study Harmony and Chord exercises too. These are useful for playing pops and jazz, and they obtain a deeper understanding of classical pieces too. Private Piano lesson, from age 4 and above. Children can start the lesson after being able to read the numbers from 1 to 5 and the alphabet from A to G. Advanced students who want to prepare for competitions, auditions, ABRSM, GCSE, IB exams, or the entrance exam of the conservatory. Hi my name is Daniils, I am Latvian born concert violinist which at this time 2 years based in The Netherlands. I am member of the Nationaal Muziekinstrumenten Fonds and member of the ‘’Stift International Festival” in the Het Stift directed by Daniel Rowland. I have good experience of the violin lessons giving from 2020. Got my primarily education with Nely Sarkisjan at Emils Darzins School of Music in Riga, then studied in Moscow at Gnessin School of Music with Alexey Lundin after graduating college in 2021 got the diploma as an Artist and children teacher. And then after got same teaching experience in Riga until 2022. Now I am studying at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam with prof. Ilya Grubert and at Davidsbundler Academie with prof. Daniel Rowland. Music is Play! and everyone is it's own game. Read, understand and make only the music you like. I think if it isn't fun, it can't be music:) I studied a classical piano bachelor, and later a jazz master and a live electronics master. In the meantime, I have been teaching music. It's longer than 9 years now! Most of my students learn piano. With the starter ones, I use my own system to equally help them grow all the needed skills: body consciousness (to avoid lesions or bad habits), music theory (including writing and reading) and improvisation. Usually most songs are made of melody, chords and rhythm. From there, I can help you understand how a song works, how is it written, how does it translate to the piano... and voilá! You'll know the song by heart, and will be able to play it a bit different every time, because you won't be following a set of pre-imposed instructions. You will understand how a small system (a song) works. This way of learning can be applied to any song, from any century or style. Understanding is key! Play Chopin, write rock songs, play Monk, Bill Evans, the Beatles, make a lo-fi beat, play Beethoven, play the Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter and Star Wars, play video game music, play salsa! bachata and make people dance, laugh or cry. Music is very powerful! PD: I have also experience imparting electronic music lessons in Ableton Live and Max MSP, which is now a very important part of my professional practice.
