Hi! I'm Leo and I teach violin. Are you a complete beginner? I will guide you through those first, particularly tricky steps and introduce you to the wondrous world of violin playing. Are you a continuing student in need of help and inspiration? I will motivate you to work not only harder but smarter, making sure that the violin is not an obstacle but rather a connection between you and the music. Are you aspiring to play violin professionally? I will share my professional experience with you and inspire you to find your own sound, and your own personality on the violin, teach you to hear and to be heard. Are you someone who used to play violin in their earlier years and would like to start again? I will help you rekindle that passion and ensure your happy reunion with the instrument, paying particular attention to retaining physical comfort and health. I've studied violin in Russia, the United Kingdom, and the Netherlands, which gave me an opportunity to learn a wide range of teaching methods and approaches that will suit every level and age.

Making music is an opportunity that everybody should have in their life. Personally, I think it is a beautiful and alternative way of communication, which opens up new horizons of empathy and it carries important values such as respect and understanding towards others. Being able to play an instrument gives great satisfaction, allows us to have fun, and trains our brain for the complexity of combining the mental and physical spheres at the same time!

After studying violin and piano in Boston, at New England Conservatory with Eric Rosenblith, Master Classes with Dorothy DeLay, chamber music with Leslie Parnas and Burton Fine, as well as other Juilliard teachers and studies with Robert Soetens in France, I have been fortunate to enjoy over twenty years of teaching violin, viola and piano students. I am currently teaching in Central Florida as well as online through my Unique Musicality curriculum business. My initial studio experience began during my education at New England Conservatory, where I began teaching young students in the Boston area. Later, I was able to give master classes, private and group lessons in France and Asia as a member of touring orchestras. I currently teach lessons as well as providing master classes for select students and organizations. For the past two summers, I was a coach and performer at the Assisi Performing Arts Chamber Music Festival in Assisi, Italy. I have also been a judge in various Youth Symphony competitions as well as civic organizations that hold music competitions, such as the Kiwanis Club Arts and Music competition. My students have achieved entrance into summer conservatory programs including Peabody’s Music Summer Camp, Emory University’s Atlanta Chamber Music Festival, Franklin Pond Summer Intensive Chamber music program, Assisi Italy Performing Arts Chamber Music Festival, as well as continuing their college studies at Music Schools and Conservatories.

My goal is to make people of all ages and levels learn not only playing an instrument but how can music help them in their everyday life. I am an Albanian violinist, with a Bachelor degree in Classical Music (Violin) and Musicologie in Sorbonne University.
